Usage Notes: Week 1

By Mike Krueger | Updated: 9/8/25

Each week, I’ll look at snaps, usage, touches, target shares and pull out the highlights you need to know from each game.

- All games will be available Monday evening each week.

Arizona

Offensive Snaps: 66

RB James Conner: 43 snaps (65.2%), 44.4% rush share, 13.8% tgt share
RB Trey Benson: 22 snaps (33.3%), 29.6% rush share, 3.4% tgt share

WR Marvin Harrison Jr.: 59 snaps (89.4%), 20.7% tgt share
WR Michael Wilson: 44 snaps (66.7%), 13.8% tgt share
WR Zay Jones: 31 snaps (47.0%), 3.4% tgt share
WR Greg Dortch: 10 snaps (15.2%), 3.4% tgt share

TE Trey McBride: 64 snaps (97.0%), 31.0% tgt share
TE Tip Reiman: 34 snaps (51.5%), 3.4% tgt share

Need to know: Conner is still the lead-back but the pre-season idea that Benson (52-yard run) will play more in 2025 seems like it’s going to happen. Zay Jones isn’t fantasy worthy yet, but he’s ahead of Dortch on the depth chart.

Atlanta

Offensive Snaps: 76

RB Bijan Robinson: 63 snaps (82.9%), 42.9% rush share, 16.3% tgt share
RB Tyler Allgeier: 19 snaps (25.0%), 35.7% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Drake London: 67 snaps (88.2%), 34.9% tgt share
WR Casey Washington: 72 snaps (94.7%), 14.0% tgt share
WR Ray-Ray McCloud: 55 snaps (72.4%), 11.6% tgt share
WR KhaDarel Hodge: 8 snaps (10.5%), 2.3% tgt share

TE Kyle Pitts: 59 snaps (77.6%), 18.6% tgt share
TE Charlie Woerner: 32 snaps (42.1%), 2.3% tgt share

Need to know: WR Darnell Mooney was Inactive. Expect him to replace Washington in the starting lineup when he returns. London (15 tgts) hit the low version of his expected outcomes this week – had numerous endzone looks that just missed. Sizeable rush share for Allgeier (35.7%), but that didn’t stop Bijan who racked 100 yds receiving.

Baltimore

Offensive Snaps: 51

RB Derrick Henry: 29 snaps (56.9%), 62.1% rush share, 5.3% tgt share
RB Justice Hill: 23 snaps (45.1%), 6.9% rush share, 10.5% tgt share
RB Rasheen Ali: 1 snap (2.0%), 3.4% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Zay Flowers: 46 snaps (90.2%), 47.4% tgt share
WR Rashod Bateman: 37 snaps (72.5%), 21.1% tgt share
WR DeAndre Hopkins: 18 snaps (35.3%), 10.5% tgt share
WR Tylan Wallace: 16 snaps (31.4%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Mark Andrews: 38 snaps (74.5%), 5.3% tgt share
TE Charlie Kolar: 31 snaps (60.8%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: Wild game led to huge fantasy scores. RB Keaton Mitchell was Inactive as Ali plays on special teams. Mitchell will only have value only if Henry or Hill get hurt. Bills had no answer for Henry (18-169-2, 1-13-0)… or Lamar (209-2; 6-70-1)… or Flowers (7-143-1). Highlight reel TD catch by Hopkins! TE Isaiah Likely was Inactive.

Buffalo

Offensive Snaps: 85

RB James Cook: 48 snaps (56.5%), 41.9% rush share, 11.1% tgt share
RB Ty Johnson: 28 snaps (32.9%), 6.5% rush share, 4.4% tgt share
RB Ray Davis: 10 snaps (11.8%), 3.2% rush share, 2.2% tgt share

WR Keon Coleman: 75 snaps (88.2%), 24.4% tgt share
WR Khalil Shakir: 60 snaps (70.6%), 20.0% tgt share
WR Josh Palmer: 53 snaps (62.4%), 20.0% tgt share
WR Tyrell Shavers: 17 snaps (20.0%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Elijah Moore: 12 snaps (14.1%), 2.2% tgt share

TE Dawson Knox: 48 snaps (56.5%), 4.4% tgt share
TE Dalton Kincaid: 43 snaps (50.6%), 8.9% tgt share

Need to know: Wild game led to huge fantasy scores. Ty Johnson (32.9% snap share) played more than expected as Buffalo was in catch-up mode in the second half. Cook (102 yds, 1 TD) on 18 touches. Keon Coleman (11 tgts) looks like he’s going to make a year 2 leap.

Carolina

Offensive Snaps: 64

RB Chuba Hubbard: 43 snaps (67.2%), 64.0% rush share, 14.7% tgt share
RB Rico Dowdle: 22 snaps (34.4%), 12.0% rush share, 8.8% tgt share
RB Trevor Etienne: 2 snaps (3.1%), 4.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Tetairoa McMillan: 53 snaps (82.8%), 26.5% tgt share
WR Xavier Legette: 50 snaps (78.1%), 20.6% tgt share
WR Hunter Renfrow: 42 snaps (65.6%), 17.6% tgt share
WR Brycen Tremayne: 19 snaps (29.7%), 0.0% tgt share
WR David Moore: 12 snaps (18.8%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Ja'Tavion Sanders: 39 snaps (60.9%), 8.8% tgt share
TE Tommy Tremble: 29 snaps (45.3%), 2.9% tgt share

Need to know: Game was delayed 1 hr 15 minutes due to weather. As expected, McMillan (9 tgts), Legette (7 tgts) and Renfrow (6 tgts) were the top three wideouts. Bad showing by the Panthers offense, but upcoming schedule is favorable so willing to be patient.

Chicago

Offensive Snaps:
.

Cincinnati

Offensive Snaps: 52

RB Chase Brown: 39 snaps (75.0%), 91.3% rush share, 13.0% tgt share
RB Samaje Perine: 13 snaps (25.0%), 0.0% rush share, 8.7% tgt share

WR Ja'Marr Chase: 45 snaps (86.5%), 21.7% tgt share
WR Tee Higgins: 41 snaps (78.8%), 17.4% tgt share
WR Andrei Iosivas: 34 snaps (65.4%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Drew Sample: 36 snaps (69.2%), 4.3% tgt share
TE Noah Fant: 26 snaps (50.0%), 21.7% tgt share
TE Mike Gesicki: 16 snaps (30.8%), 13.0% tgt share

Need to know: Ugly day at the office for this group. Just 113 yards passing for Burrow. Ja’Marr Chase and Fant led the team with 5 targets a piece. 23 touches for Chase Brown (21-43-1, 2-8-0).

Cleveland

Offensive Snaps: 76

RB Jerome Ford: 41 snaps (53.9%), 25.0% rush share, 2.4% tgt share
RB Dylan Sampson: 33 snaps (43.4%), 50.0% rush share, 19.0% tgt share
RB Raheim Sanders: 3 snaps (3.9%), 12.5% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Cedric Tillman: 67 snaps (88.2%), 19.0% tgt share
WR Jerry Jeudy: 67 snaps (88.2%), 19.0% tgt share
WR Jamari Thrash: 21 snaps (27.6%), 2.4% tgt share
WR Isaiah Bond: 21 snaps (27.6%), 2.4% tgt share

TE David Njoku: 64 snaps (84.2%), 14.3% tgt share
TE Harold Fannin Jr.: 55 snaps (72.4%), 21.4% tgt share

Need to know: 45 pass attempts for Flacco. Sampson (20 touches) the preferred RB in the passing game (8 tgts). Muted role for Jerome Ford (7 touches). Backup rookie TE Harold Fannin Jr. (9 tgts) isn’t a backup!

Dallas

Offensive Snaps: 61

RB Javonte Williams: 47 snaps (77.0%), 68.2% rush share, 9.1% tgt share
RB Miles Sanders: 11 snaps (18.0%), 18.2% rush share, 3.0% tgt share
RB Hunter Luepke: 8 snaps (13.1%), 0.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR CeeDee Lamb: 56 snaps (91.8%), 39.4% tgt share
WR George Pickens: 56 snaps (91.8%), 12.1% tgt share
WR KaVontae Turpin: 28 snaps (45.9%), 6.1% tgt share
WR Jalen Tolbert: 27 snaps (44.3%), 6.1% tgt share

TE Jake Ferguson: 47 snaps (77.0%), 18.2% tgt share
TE Luke Schoonmaker: 15 snaps (24.6%), 3.0% tgt share
TE Brevyn Spann-Ford: 10 snaps (16.4%), 3.0% tgt share

Need to know: Rookie RB Jaydon Blue was inactive. His fantasy impact will have to wait. Javonte was the clear lead RB. Turpin used in the running game, end-arounds and gadget type plays – more fantasy value than Tolbert.

Denver

Offensive Snaps: 76

RB J.K. Dobbins: 40 snaps (52.6%), 53.3% rush share, 5.4% tgt share
RB RJ Harvey: 22 snaps (28.9%), 20.0% rush share, 2.7% tgt share
RB Tyler Badie: 14 snaps (18.4%), 0.0% rush share, 16.2% tgt share

WR Courtland Sutton: 72 snaps (94.7%), 24.3% tgt share
WR Troy Franklin: 45 snaps (59.2%), 16.2% tgt share
WR Marvin Mims Jr.: 40 snaps (52.6%), 10.8% tgt share
WR Trent Sherfield: 26 snaps (34.2%), 2.7% tgt share
WR Pat Bryant: 4 snaps (5.3%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Evan Engram: 26 snaps (34.2%), 10.8% tgt share
TE Adam Trautman: 44 snaps (57.9%), 2.7% tgt share
TE Lucas Krull: 22 snaps (28.9%), 5.4% tgt share

Need to know: Dobbins (18 touches) clear lead RB over Harvey (7 touches). Badie’s snap share (18.4%) is enough to be annoying. Rookie wideout Pat Bryant played just 4 snaps - behind Trent Sherfield on the depth chart. TE Evan Engram was bothered by a calf injury.

Detroit

Offensive Snaps: 67

RB Jahmyr Gibbs: 44 snaps (65.7%), 40.9% rush share, 26.3% tgt share
RB David Montgomery: 25 snaps (37.3%), 50.0% rush share, 10.5% tgt share

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown: 63 snaps (94.0%), 15.8% tgt share
WR Jameson Williams: 65 snaps (97.0%), 13.2% tgt share
WR Kalif Raymond: 44 snaps (65.7%), 7.9% tgt share
WR Isaac TeSlaa: 3 snaps (4.5%), 2.6% tgt share

TE Sam LaPorta: 61 snaps (91.0%), 23.7% tgt share
TE Brock Wright: 24 snaps (35.8%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: We’ve been a little cautious on the Lions heading into the season but this performance was a little surprising. Running game went nowhere - 20 combined carries for Gibbs and Montgomery led to 44 yards. Big PPR day for Gibbs who caught 10 passes but for just 31 yards. TeSlaa highlight TD despite playing behind Raymond (65.7% snap share).

Green Bay

Offensive Snaps: 48

RB Josh Jacobs: 42 snaps (87.5%), 76.0% rush share, 4.5% tgt share
RB Chris Brooks: 9 snaps (18.8%), 4.0% rush share, 4.5% tgt share
RB Emanuel Wilson: 2 snaps (4.2%), 4.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Romeo Doubs: 34 snaps (70.8%), 18.2% tgt share
WR Matthew Golden: 23 snaps (47.9%), 9.1% tgt share
WR Dontayvion Wicks: 22 snaps (45.8%), 9.1% tgt share
WR Jayden Reed: 18 snaps (37.5%), 22.7% tgt share
WR Malik Heath: 11 snaps (22.9%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Tucker Kraft: 44 snaps (91.7%), 18.2% tgt share
TE Luke Musgrave: 17 snaps (35.4%), 4.5% tgt share

Need to know: Jacobs saw 19 of 20 running back carries. Jayden Reed (foot) was limited to just 18 snaps but led the team with 5 targets. With five-plus receivers rotating, it’s hard to get excited about anyone in the Green Bay WR room.

Houston

Offensive Snaps: 63

RB Nick Chubb: 32 snaps (50.8%), 48.1% rush share, 3.7% tgt share
RB Dare Ogunbowale: 17 snaps (27.0%), 7.4% rush share, 7.4% tgt share
RB Dameon Pierce: 7 snaps (11.1%), 11.1% rush share, 3.7% tgt share
RB Woody Marks: 7 snaps (11.1%), 11.1% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Nico Collins: 53 snaps (84.1%), 18.5% tgt share
WR Xavier Hutchinson: 43 snaps (68.3%), 7.4% tgt share
WR Justin Watson: 35 snaps (55.6%), 7.4% tgt share
WR Jayden Higgins: 27 snaps (42.9%), 11.1% tgt share
WR Jaylin Noel: 17 snaps (27.0%), 7.4% tgt share

TE Dalton Schultz: 34 snaps (54.0%), 18.5% tgt share
TE Cade Stover: 36 snaps (57.1%), 14.8% tgt share

Need to know: Chubb (13 touches) was the clear lead RB. Nobody else has fantasy value until we get rid of this four-man RBBC. Xavier Hutchinson and Justin Watson played ahead of rookies Higgins and Noel. Nico and TE Schultz led the team with 5 targets.

Indianapolis

Offensive Snaps: 73

RB Jonathan Taylor: 52 snaps (71.2%), 45.0% rush share, 10.3% tgt share
RB DJ Giddens: 18 snaps (24.7%), 30.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Michael Pittman Jr.: 60 snaps (82.2%), 27.6% tgt share
WR Alec Pierce: 58 snaps (79.5%), 10.3% tgt share
WR Josh Downs: 36 snaps (49.3%), 10.3% tgt share
WR Adonai Mitchell: 15 snaps (20.5%), 6.9% tgt share

TE Tyler Warren: 53 snaps (72.6%), 31.0% tgt share
TE Mo Alie-Cox: 33 snaps (45.2%), 3.4% tgt share
TE Andrew Ogletree: 27 snaps (37.0%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: Daniel Jones looked competent in first game with Colts. Vultured two one-yard rushing TDs from Jonathan Taylor. Giddens is the clear No.2 RB and worthy of a bench stash. Miami-D is someone we’ll be picking on all season. TE Tyler Warren is going to be a TE1 as long as he’s healthy. He’s presence could spell doom for Josh Downs’ value.

Jacksonville

Offensive Snaps: 66

RB Travis Etienne: 40 snaps (60.6%), 50.0% rush share, 10.3% tgt share
RB Tank Bigsby: 14 snaps (21.2%), 15.6% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Bhayshul Tuten: 4 snaps (6.1%), 9.4% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB LeQuint Allen Jr.: 9 snaps (13.6%), 3.1% rush share, 3.4% tgt share

WR Brian Thomas Jr.: 57 snaps (86.4%), 24.1% tgt share
WR Dyami Brown: 47 snaps (71.2%), 13.8% tgt share
WR Travis Hunter: 42 snaps (63.6%), 27.6% tgt share
WR Parker Washington: 17 snaps (25.8%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Brenton Strange: 52 snaps (78.8%), 13.8% tgt share
TE Johnny Mundt: 33 snaps (50.0%), 3.4% tgt share

Need to know: Etienne (19 touches) was the clear RB1. I’m not holding Tuten right now is shallower redraft leagues. Brian Thomas Jr. had one catch on 7 targets – scored on a rush. Hunter led the team with 8 targets and played just 6 snaps on defense. His targets were mostly short-area and screens.

Kansas City

Offensive Snaps: 61

RB Isiah Pacheco: 31 snaps (50.8%), 29.4% rush share, 7.9% tgt share
RB Kareem Hunt: 23 snaps (37.7%), 29.4% rush share, 7.9% tgt share
RB Brashard Smith: 8 snaps (13.1%), 0.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Marquise Brown: 57 snaps (93.4%), 42.1% tgt share
WR JuJu Smith-Schuster: 49 snaps (80.3%), 13.2% tgt share
WR Tyquan Thornton: 44 snaps (72.1%), 10.5% tgt share
WR Xavier Worthy: 3 snaps (4.9%), 2.6% tgt share

TE Travis Kelce: 51 snaps (83.6%), 10.5% tgt share
TE Noah Gray: 25 snaps (41.0%), 2.6% tgt share

Need to know: Brutal situation for Worthy – injured his shoulder on the Chiefs first series. Still waiting on how long he will be out. Significant snaps for Thornton (72%) – he’ll be a weekly dart throw in deep leagues if Worthy misses time. Don’t see the upside with Pacheco at the moment – splitting too much time with Hunt.

LA Chargers

Offensive Snaps: 65

RB Omarion Hampton: 52 snaps (80%), 60.0% rush share, 5.9% tgt share
RB Najee Harris: 12 snaps (18.5%), 4.0% rush share, 2.9% tgt share

WR Ladd McConkey: 55 snaps (84.6%), 26.5% tgt share
WR Quentin Johnston: 53 snaps (81.5%), 20.6% tgt share
WR Keenan Allen: 40 snaps (61.5%), 29.4% tgt share
WR KeAndre Lambert-Smith: 14 snaps (21.5%), 2.9% tgt share
WR Tre Harris: 5 snaps (7.7%), 2.9% tgt share

TE Will Dissly: 37 snaps (56.9%), 2.9% tgt share
TE Tyler Conklin: 28 snaps (43.1%), 5.9% tgt share

Need to know: Justin Herbert (7-32-0) noted in the off-season he would run more. Seems like that’s going to happen. Box score wasn’t there, encouraging usage for Hampton. He was the clear lead back with Najee (1 carry) missing the pre-season. McConkey, Johnston working in 2-WR sets – Keenan in on 3 WR sets. Nothing doing for rookie Harris at the moment.

LA Rams

Offensive Snaps: 60

RB Kyren Williams: 49 snaps (81.7%), 72.0% rush share, 7.1% tgt share
RB Blake Corum: 10 snaps (16.7%), 4.0% rush share, 3.6% tgt share

WR Davante Adams: 54 snaps (90.0%), 28.6% tgt share
WR Puka Nacua: 38 snaps (63.3%), 39.3% tgt share
WR Jordan Whittington: 30 snaps (50.0%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Tutu Atwell: 25 snaps (41.7%), 3.6% tgt share

TE Tyler Higbee: 35 snaps (58.3%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Colby Parkinson: 29 snaps (48.3%), 7.1% tgt share
TE Davis Allen: 22 snaps (36.7%), 7.1% tgt share

Need to know: As usual, Kyren (19 touches) out here dominating the Rams backfield. Puka (10-130-0) and Adams (4-51-0) combined for 19 targets.

Las Vegas

Offensive Snaps: 63

RB Ashton Jeanty: 54 snaps (85.7%), 79.2% rush share, 6.1% tgt share
RB Zamir White: 9 snaps (14.3%), 12.5% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Jakobi Meyers: 59 snaps (93.7%), 30.3% tgt share
WR Tre Tucker: 57 snaps (90.5%), 9.1% tgt share
WR Dont'e Thornton Jr.: 38 snaps (60.3%), 12.1% tgt share
WR Jack Bech: 4 snaps (6.3%), 3.0% tgt share

TE Michael Mayer: 40 snaps (63.5%), 12.1% tgt share
TE Brock Bowers: 32 snaps (50.8%), 24.2% tgt share
TE Ian Thomas: 20 snaps (31.7%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: Mostert was supposed to be the third-down RB - he was inactive. Workhorse role for rookie Jeanty was encouraging - hope to seem him more involved in the passing game moving forward. Tucker worked as the No.2 wideout making him a waiver wire consideration. Bowers left with a knee injury but seems fine. Mayer’s involvement (63.5% snap share) is worth noting as we move forward.

Miami

Offensive Snaps: 48

RB De'Von Achane: 35 snaps (72.9%), 58.3% rush share, 12.9% tgt share
RB Ollie Gordon II: 12 snaps (25.0%), 16.7% rush share, 3.2% tgt share

WR Jaylen Waddle: 31 snaps (64.6%), 16.1% tgt share
WR Tyreek Hill: 30 snaps (62.5%), 19.4% tgt share
WR Malik Washington: 28 snaps (58.3%), 16.1% tgt share
WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: 21 snaps (43.8%), 6.5% tgt share
WR Dee Eskridge: 13 snaps (27.1%), 6.5% tgt share

TE Tanner Conner: 28 snaps (58.3%), 12.9% tgt share
TE Julian Hill: 28 snaps (58.3%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: TE Darren Waller was inactive. Miami is a mess both offensively and defensively. Hard to trust anyone in your lineup outside of Achane in PPR leagues.

Minnesota

Offensive Snaps:
.

New England

Offensive Snaps: 71

RB Rhamondre Stevenson: 46 snaps (64.8%), 38.9% rush share, 6.7% tgt share
RB TreVeyon Henderson: 25 snaps (35.2%), 27.8% rush share, 13.3% tgt share
RB Antonio Gibson: 5 snaps (7.0%), 5.6% rush share, 2.2% tgt share

WR Kayshon Boutte: 58 snaps (81.7%), 17.8% tgt share
WR Demario Douglas: 45 snaps (63.4%), 15.6% tgt share
WR Mack Hollins: 40 snaps (56.3%), 4.4% tgt share
WR Stefon Diggs: 29 snaps (40.8%), 15.6% tgt share
WR Kyle Williams: 7 snaps (9.9%), 2.2% tgt share

TE Hunter Henry: 66 snaps (93.0%), 17.8% tgt share
TE Austin Hooper: 23 snaps (32.4%), 2.2% tgt share

Need to know: Pats taking it easy on Diggs (40.8% snap share) early in the season? New England rotating 5 wideouts isn’t great but Boutte will be a hot waiver wire add this week. Not surprised at the Rhamondre-TreVeyon usage. The six targets for Henderson are encouraging.

New Orleans

Offensive Snaps: 75

RB Alvin Kamara: 59 snaps (78.7%), 50.0% rush share, 4.9% tgt share
RB Kendre Miller: 11 snaps (14.7%), 22.7% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Devin Neal: 7 snaps (9.3%), 9.1% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Chris Olave: 64 snaps (85.3%), 31.7% tgt share
WR Rashid Shaheed: 64 snaps (85.3%), 22.0% tgt share
WR Brandin Cooks: 57 snaps (76.0%), 9.8% tgt share
WR Devaughn Vele: 17 snaps (22.7%), 4.9% tgt share

TE Juwan Johnson: 74 snaps (98.7%), 26.8% tgt share

Need to know: TE Juwan Johnson is going to be a viable weekly option. Consider him if you’re streaming the position. Olave was banged up multiple times in this game.

NY Giants

Offensive Snaps: 68

RB Tyrone Tracy Jr.: 50 snaps (73.5%), 43.5% rush share, 14.7% tgt share
RB Devin Singletary: 10 snaps (14.7%), 13.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Cam Skattebo: 8 snaps (11.8%), 8.7% rush share, 5.9% tgt share

WR Darius Slayton: 66 snaps (97.1%), 2.9% tgt share
WR Malik Nabers: 64 snaps (94.1%), 35.3% tgt share
WR Wan'Dale Robinson: 52 snaps (76.5%), 23.5% tgt share

TE Theo Johnson: 53 snaps (77.9%), 8.8% tgt share
TE Chris Manhertz: 18 snaps (26.5%), 2.9% tgt share
TE Daniel Bellinger: 15 snaps (22.1%), 2.9% tgt share

Need to know: Jaxson Dart is going to get the starting nod soon. Tracy is the clear lead RB with Skattebo (4 touches) fighting for scraps with Singletary (3 touches).

NY Jets

Offensive Snaps: 64

RB Breece Hall: 37 snaps (57.8%), 48.7% rush share, 19.0% tgt share
RB Braelon Allen: 20 snaps (31.2%), 15.4% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Isaiah Davis: 8 snaps (12.5%), 5.1% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Garrett Wilson: 64 snaps (100.0%), 42.9% tgt share
WR Josh Reynolds: 62 snaps (96.9%), 14.3% tgt share
WR Arian Smith: 6 snaps (9.4%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Tyler Johnson: 33 snaps (51.6%), 9.5% tgt share

TE Mason Taylor: 56 snaps (87.5%), 4.8% tgt share
TE Jeremy Ruckert: 29 snaps (45.3%), 9.5% tgt share

Need to know: Efficient day for Breece (5.6 ypc) but the presence of Fields (12 carries, 48 yds, 2 TDs) and Allen (6-9-1) in short yardage and around the goaline are going to keep Breece out of RB1 range most weeks. All the snaps for Garrett Wilson. Reynolds is probably least attractive No.2 wideout in the league. Rookie TE Mason Taylor played 87.5% of the snaps.

Philadelphia

Offensive Snaps: 63

RB Saquon Barkley: 50 snaps (79.4%), 47.4% rush share, 25.0% tgt share
RB AJ Dillon: 8 snaps (12.7%), 7.9% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Will Shipley: 5 snaps (7.9%), 7.9% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR DeVonta Smith: 56 snaps (88.9%), 15.0% tgt share
WR A.J. Brown: 55 snaps (87.3%), 5.0% tgt share
WR Jahan Dotson: 29 snaps (46.0%), 15.0% tgt share

TE Dallas Goedert: 52 snaps (82.5%), 35.0% tgt share
TE Grant Calcaterra: 37 snaps (58.7%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Kylen Granson: 17 snaps (27.0%), 5.0% tgt share

Need to know: Will Shipley seemed like he was going to have a noteworthy role in the offense but injured his ribs in the 2nd quarter. Prefer him over Dillon assuming he’s not out for an extended period of time. No worries on Brown despite 1 target.

Pittsburgh

Offensive Snaps: 56

RB Kenneth Gainwell: 30 snaps (53.6%), 35% rush share, 13.8% tgt share
RB Jaylen Warren: 25 snaps (44.6%), 55.0% rush share, 6.9% tgt share
RB Kaleb Johnson: 2 snaps (3.6%), 5.0% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR DK Metcalf: 53 snaps (94.6%), 24.1% tgt share
WR Calvin Austin: 45 snaps (80.4%), 20.7% tgt share
WR Ben Skowronek: 10 snaps (17.9%), 3.4% tgt share
WR Roman Wilson: 10 snaps (17.9%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Scotty Miller: 9 snaps (16.1%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Jonnu Smith: 37 snaps (66.1%), 20.7% tgt share
TE Pat Freiermuth: 28 snaps (50.0%), 10.3% tgt share
TE Darnell Washington: 26 snaps (46.4%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: Kaleb (1 touch) firmly behind Gainwell (10 touches). Gainwell splits time with Warren (13 touches). Metcalf (7 tgts) and Austin (6 tgts) were the clear top two wideouts. Arthur Smith rotating three TEs but at least Jonnu got 6 tgts.

Seattle

Offensive Snaps: 53

RB Zach Charbonnet: 30 snaps (57.7%), 46.2% rush share, 0.0% tgt share
RB Kenneth Walker: 21 snaps (40.4%), 38.5% rush share, 13.6% tgt share

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba: 40 snaps (76.9%), 59.1% tgt share
WR Cooper Kupp: 46 snaps (88.5%), 13.6% tgt share
WR Tory Horton: 28 snaps (53.8%), 0.0% tgt share

TE AJ Barner: 44 snaps (84.6%), 9.1% tgt share
TE Elijah Arroyo: 16 snaps (30.8%), 4.5% tgt share
TE Eric Saubert: 9 snaps (17.3%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: Not good for Walker. Charbonnet (12-47-1) was significantly involved from the get-go, although early drives that Walker played in were very short which likely skewed his touch numbers. Still, this seems like an even backfield at the moment. 13 targets for JSN led the team. Nobody else had more than 3. TE Barner, well ahead of Arroyo.

San Francisco

Offensive Snaps: 76

RB Christian McCaffrey: 58 snaps (76.3%), 61.1% rush share, 29.4% tgt share
RB Brian Robinson Jr.: 18 snaps (23.7%), 25.0% rush share, 5.9% tgt share
RB Kyle Juszczyk: 37 snaps (48.7%), 0.0% rush share, 5.9% tgt share

WR Ricky Pearsall: 64 snaps (84.2%), 20.6% tgt share
WR Jauan Jennings: 50 snaps (65.8%), 14.7% tgt share
WR Russell Gage: 28 snaps (36.8%), 0.0% tgt share
WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling: 27 snaps (35.5%), 0.0% tgt share

TE George Kittle: 21 snaps (27.6%), 11.8% tgt share
TE Luke Farrell: 44 snaps (57.9%), 2.9% tgt share
TE Jake Tonges: 30 snaps (39.5%), 8.8% tgt share

Need to know: Seems like the calf of McCaffrey (31 touches) is just fine. Would like to see more efficiency (3.1 ypc) from him in the running game. Kittle (4 tgts) left early with a hamstring injury. Jauan Jennings also left early with a shoulder injury and the team signed Kendrick Bourne on Monday.

Tampa Bay

Offensive Snaps: 58

RB Bucky Irving: 44 snaps (75.9%), 60.9% rush share, 13.3% tgt share
RB Rachaad White: 14 snaps (24.1%), 8.7% rush share, 3.3% tgt share
RB Sean Tucker: 2 snaps (3.4%), 4.3% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Emeka Egbuka: 54 snaps (93.1%), 20.0% tgt share
WR Mike Evans: 48 snaps (82.8%), 26.7% tgt share
WR Sterling Shepard: 37 snaps (63.8%), 20.0% tgt share
WR Ryan Miller: 9 snaps (15.5%), 3.3% tgt share
WR Tez Johnson: 8 snaps (13.8%), 3.3% tgt share

TE Cade Otton: 50 snaps (86.2%), 10.0% tgt share
TE Payne Durham: 15 snaps (25.9%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: Rookie WR Emeka Egbuka (4-67-2) is the real deal. Just a 53.1 completion % for Mayfield. As expected, Bucky (18 touches) is the clear lead RB.

Tennessee

Offensive Snaps: 57

RB Tony Pollard: 51 snaps (89.5%), 85.7% rush share, 4.0% tgt share
RB Julius Chestnut: 6 snaps (10.5%), 9.5% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Calvin Ridley: 54 snaps (94.7%), 32.0% tgt share
WR Elic Ayomanor: 45 snaps (78.9%), 28.0% tgt share
WR Tyler Lockett: 33 snaps (57.9%), 4.0% tgt share
WR Chimere Dike: 10 snaps (17.5%), 4.0% tgt share
WR Van Jefferson: 7 snaps (12.3%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Chig Okonkwo: 50 snaps (87.7%), 16.0% tgt share
TE Gunnar Helm: 23 snaps (40.4%), 8.0% tgt share

Need to know: Rough matchup out of the gate for the Titans against the Broncos-D. Rookie QB Cam Ward with just 112 yards passing. With Spears out, Pollard in a workhorse role. Rookie WR Ayomanor (7 tgts) locked in as the No.2 wideout.

Washington

Offensive Snaps: 70

RB Austin Ekeler: 33 snaps (47.1%), 18.8% rush share, 10.3% tgt share
RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt: 23 snaps (32.9%), 31.2% rush share, 3.4% tgt share
RB Jeremy McNichols: 13 snaps (18.6%), 12.5% rush share, 0.0% tgt share

WR Terry McLaurin: 55 snaps (78.6%), 13.8% tgt share
WR Deebo Samuel: 54 snaps (77.1%), 34.5% tgt share
WR Noah Brown: 33 snaps (47.1%), 10.3% tgt share
WR Jaylin Lane: 21 snaps (30.0%), 6.9% tgt share
WR Chris Moore: 19 snaps (27.1%), 3.4% tgt share
WR Luke McCaffrey: 5 snaps (7.1%), 0.0% tgt share

TE Zach Ertz: 45 snaps (64.3%), 17.2% tgt share
TE John Bates: 37 snaps (52.9%), 0.0% tgt share
TE Ben Sinnott: 8 snaps (11.4%), 0.0% tgt share

Need to know: Bill (10 touches) is in the Brian Robinson Jr. role but he’s more dynamic. Weekly RB2 upside. Chris Rodriguez Jr. was inactive. Slow start for McLaurin (4 tgts) which is understandable given all the camp time he missed.
