2025 Outlook
Depth Chart
A.J. Brown just keeps doing A.J. Brown things. In 2024, he hauled in 67 catches for 1,079 yards and seven touchdowns - his third straight 1,000-yard season in Philly. That's rock-solid WR1 territory, even if it's a step down from his 1,400-plus-yard explosions in 2022 and 2023. The dip makes sense: Saquon Barkley's monster year tilted the offense toward the run, and Brown played just three games with both DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert healthy. Still, his connection with Jalen Hurts is money, especially in clutch spots, and he's the clear alpha in this passing attack.

For 2025, Brown's a safe bet to stay elite. He's signed through 2029, and the addition of Jahan Dotson hasn't shaken his WR1 status - Dotson's more of a depth piece - and the Eagles didn't add anything of significance to their passing game this offseason. If the Eagles balance things out with more passing (a possibility with Barkley's workload maybe easing), Brown could see a target bump. Health across the receiving corps is the X-factor; but even when everyone is on the field, Brown's still the top dog.

Brown's a second- or third-round lock as a top-10 WR with high-end WR1 upside. He's not the league's flashiest option, but he's a set-it-and-forget-it star. Draft him and enjoy the consistency.

News From The Past 90 Days
Dallas Goedert sticking in Philadelphia, one-year deal
Eagles avoid a dead-cap hit of more than $20 million
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Mar 15, 3:59 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Back to Philly for Dallas Goedert: The #Eagles have agreed to terms with the eight-year veteran TE on a one-year deal, sources tell me and @RapSheet. It was a complicated process for the last week but Goedert wanted to stay and the sides found a way to make it work. (Mike Garafolo on X)

FFToday's Take: The deal is reportedly worth $7 million. Goedert (31) spiked 11 touchdowns in 2025 on the way to his best fantasy finish to date (TE3). His usage around the goaline was encouraging but it's hard to justify him as anything more than a TE2 in 2026 even if wideout A.J. Brown eventually gets traded.

Kevin Patullo gets the ax
Eagles OC fired after one season
By: Doug Orth | Tue Jan 13, 11:30 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Sources: Eagles fired offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. Eagles now will be going on their fifth OC in five years, with two of them leaving for head coaching jobs. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)

FFToday's Take: While injuries certainly played a role, the last two seasons in Philadelphia showed us how much difference a good - not to mention experienced - offensive coordinator can make. Kellen Moore had this offense looking nearly unstoppable at times last season, while Patullo - a first-time play-caller - needed only a few weeks before he looked as though he was in over his head running an NFL offense. Expect Philadelphia to replace him with an established offensive mind and for players like Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown to bounce back in 2026.

Eagles resting key starters in Week 18
Tanner McKee to start at QB
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Jan 2, 1:00 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
In their final regular season game, the Philadelphia Eagles will be resting starters against the Washington Commanders. (Philly Voice)

FFToday's Take: The Eagles have a shot at the No.2 seed but will most likely be the No.3 seed, so they're going to sit QB Jalen Hurts and TE Dallas Goedert (knee) and it's unlikely we're going to see much of Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith. We could see a lot of Jahan Dotson and Darius Cooper at wide receiver with Tanner McKee starting at quarterback.
