| Chris Godwin listed as Doubtful|
Returned to practice Friday

|Tight end Antony Auclair is officially out against the Panthers. Chris Godwin is doubtful. Bruce Arians said he'll consider bringing someone up from the practice squad. Tanner Hudson does play special teams and that player's primary job Sunday would be special teams. (Jenna Laine on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Godwin did return to practice on Friday but is officially listed as Doubtful. Mike Evans did end up playing last week after initially being listed as Doubtful, but returning from a concussion requires more hurdles to jump. It's looking like Godwin will sit which should give more playing time to Justin Watson. Mike Evans is in the WR1 and Scotty Miller is viable Flex option.
| Chris Godwin in concussion protocol|
Showed up Wednesday with symptoms
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Sep 16, 2:16 pm
|Pro Bowl wide receiver Chris Godwin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is experiencing delayed-onset symptoms after a hit to the head Sunday and is in the concussion protocol for Week 2, coach Bruce Arians said. "He did not show any symptoms Monday or Tuesday and then showed up today with some, so we're gonna be very, very cautious with that," Arians said Wednesday. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: On a good note, Mike Evans was able to practice on Wednesday. Godwin has a few days to clear the concussion protocol. Scotty Miller posted a 5-73 line in Week 1.
| Mike Evans upgraded to Questionable|

|An encouraging step for Mike Evans, as the Bucs receiver is upgraded to questionable for Sunday vs. Saints as he deals with hamstring injury. (Greg Auman on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Evans was previously listed as Doubtful. Even if he's active for Sunday against the Saints, it will be difficult for fantasy owners to press the submit button on Evans in Week 1. Scotty Miller and Justin Watson would help fill the void if Evans sits.
| Mike Evans listed as Doubtful|
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Sep 11, 4:00 pm
|Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is listed as doubtful for Sunday's season opener against the New Orleans Saints because of a hamstring injury. Evans was listed as a limited participant in practice Friday after not participating at all on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: The Bucs will be without one their key weapons in a marquee matchup against the Saints. Arians is classifying him as a gametime decision but players listed as Doubtful very rarely make it on the field for gameday. Justin Watson and Scotty Miller will pickup the slack. Expect to see Rob Gronkowski and Chris Godwin targeted heavily on Sunday.
| Mike Evans uncertain for Week 1|
Soft tissue injury
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Sep 9, 2:17 pm
|Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pro Bowl wide receiver Mike Evans has an undisclosed soft tissue injury that could jeopardize his availability to play against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Coach Bruce Arians described Evans' status as day-to-day. "We'll take it all the way to the wire with him," Arians said of Evans. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: It sounds like Evans is going to be a true gametime decision making it difficult for fantasy owners to trust him in Week 1. If he sits, Chris Godwin and the trio of tight ends (Rob Gronkowski, O.J. Howard, Cameron Brate) could all be standout plays. Justin Watson and Scotty Miller would likely fill in the gap at receiver left by Evans.
