After going undrafted last season, Warren joined the Steelers as a free agent and quickly proved he belonged in the NFL despite borderline measurables. Warren ended up playing a bunch of meaningful snaps on a team fighting for a playoff berth, finishing with almost 600 total yards. He provided a surprising little pop to the offense, giving the running game a burst. His 4.9 yards-per-carry average was outstanding considering he was running behind one of the worst run blocking units in the NFL. While he lacks standalone value because of how much the Steelers rely on Harris, he's definitely worth a look as a sneaky handcuff.

Najee Harris expected to play Thursday night Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Thu Dec 7, 7:22 am

| | #Steelers RB Najee Harris (knee) is expected to play tonight vs. the #Patriots, plus other updates from @gmfb @nflnetwork (Tom Pelissero on X)
FFToday's Take: According to Pelissero, this is not a new injury for Harris who has been dealing with a knee issue over the last few weeks. There's been no indication of a different workload split between Harris and Jaylen Warren, though that could certainly happen tonight if the Steelers want to take a little of Harris' plate.

| Jaylen Warren the RB1 in Pittsburgh? Warren moves ahead of Najee Harris on depth chart By: Doug Orth | Tue Nov 14, 11:30 pm

| | Jaylen Warren was announced as a starter for the first time Sunday. He said Tomlin told him the night before.
"He did kind of mention the night before that whatever had transpired throughout the team, he was saying that he was going to announce me and that I'm deserving of it." (ESPN - Brooke Pryor)
FFToday's Take: Warren was announced as the starter for the team's Week 10 game against the Packers, but Najee Harris handled the first two touches by a running back in the game and ended up finishing the drive with a rushing score. Regardless of the designation, Warren has done enough to warrant splitting work with Harris at the very least and has generally been the more productive of the two backs in fantasy. Consider both backs low-end RB2s until further notice.
