Cleveland Browns

Amari Cooper out of concussion protocol, expected to play
Also dealing with rib injury
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 9 2023, 12:58 pm

#Browns star WR Amari Cooper, listed as questionable with a rib injury and a concussion, received his final clearance from the independent neurological consultant and is out of the concussion protocol, sources say. He’ll play on Sunday vs the #Jaguars. (Ian Rapoport on X)

FFToday's Take: Cooper left last week's game early with rib and head injuries but is now expected to play this week in a decent matchup against the Jaguars who've given up the 7th most fantasy points to wide receivers. Cooper being active puts a damper on Elijah Moore's fantasy outlook. Joe Flacco is expected to be the starting quarterback.

Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith Questionable with groin injury
Seattle QB missed practice Friday
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 8 2023, 5:06 pm

Carroll said Geno Smith tweaked groin in practice Thursday. Says “we’ll see” when asked if Smith will play Sunday. Carroll says they gave Smith day off to rest groin. Says they’ll take it up to gametime. But that could also be team just being intentionally vague since he had to be listed as something. (Bob Codotta on X)

FFToday's Take: Geno missed practice Friday and seems to be a true gametime decision but you never can tell listening to Pete Carroll. Drew Lock would start against the 49ers if Smith can't go. It appears Kenneth Walker is ready to return from his oblique injury after missing three games.

Los Angeles Rams

Tyler Higbee listed as Doubtful for Week 14
Neck injury
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 8 2023, 4:13 pm

Rams TE Tyler Higbee (neck stinger) is listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game. Quentin Lake (hamstring), Mike Hoecht (knee) and Byron Young (knee) are questionable but indication from McVay to reporters was he thinks all will go, barring a setback. They’ll be careful with Lake. (Jourdan Rodrigue on X)

FFToday's Take: Matthew Stafford will be without one of his weapons this week against the Ravens. Expect a lot of Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp on offense for the Rams.

Kansas City Chiefs

Chiefs rule out Isiah Pacheco for Week 14
Clyde Edwards-Helaire next man up
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 8 2023, 2:01 pm

The #Chiefs are ruling out RB Isiah Pacheco, LB Drue Tranquill, DB Bryan Cook, and OT Donovan Smith for their game against the #Bills. (Ian Rapoport on X)

FFToday's Take: The Chiefs are going to be short-handed this week against Buffalo. Expect Clyde Edwards-Helaire to get the bulk of the early-down work with Jerick McKinnon handling most of the third downs. CEH will have some Flex appeal in this role, while McKinnon has some mild upside in PPR leagues.

Green Bay Packers

Christian Watson unlikely to play Monday night
Hamstring injury
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 7 2023, 3:55 pm

Christian Watson indicated it’s unlikely he’ll be able to play Monday night vs. Giants. Made it clear he wants to be on field as quickly as possible, but hamstring will likely need more time. (Ryan Wood on X)

FFToday's Take: Watson went down with a hamstring injury in Week 13... an issue he's been dealing with most of the season. With him out of the picture, expect the passing attack to feature Romeo Doubs, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks at receiver. Doubs is going to be the preferred fantasy option.

Pittburgh Steelers

Najee Harris expected to play Thursday night
Knee injury
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 7 2023, 7:22 am

#Steelers RB Najee Harris (knee) is expected to play tonight vs. the #Patriots, plus other updates from @gmfb @nflnetwork (Tom Pelissero on X)

FFToday's Take: According to Pelissero, this is not a new injury for Harris who has been dealing with a knee issue over the last few weeks. There's been no indication of a different workload split between Harris and Jaylen Warren, though that could certainly happen tonight if the Steelers want to take a little of Harris' plate.

New England Patriots

Rhamondre Stevenson done for the season?
High-ankle sprain
By: Doug Orth | Dec 5 2023, 11:55 pm

Tests showed that Patriots’ RB Rhamondre Stevenson suffered a high ankle sprain and he now is expected to miss, in the words of a source, “a few weeks.” (ESPN - Adam Schefter)

FFToday's Take: With the Patriots' most important goal being to secure as high of a draft pick as possible at this point, it would make little sense to bring Stevenson back. New England's offense is dreadful enough that it will be risky to start any Patriot with any degree of confidence, but Ezekiel Elliott should see enough volume moving forward to be a decent RB2 option most weeks.

Washington Redskins

Brian Robinson dealing with hamstring injury
Commanders on bye in Week 14
By: Doug Orth | Dec 5 2023, 11:50 pm

Commanders’ RB Brian Robinson Jr. ruled out today due to a hamstring injury. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)

FFToday's Take: There is a possibility that Robinson can return in time for Week 15 against the Rams, but the Commanders could also decide that it makes little sense to do so in another lost season for the franchise. Antonio Gibson recorded three of his 14 touches in Week 13 before Robinson left for good early in the second quarter and would likely assume the lead role if Robinson isn't ready to face the Rams. How much the lead role means is another story, especially since he would likely share early-down work with Chris Rodriguez Jr.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence diagnosed with high-ankle sprain
HC not ruling him out for Week 14 yet
By: Doug Orth | Dec 5 2023, 11:30 pm

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence is going to rehab around the clock this week to give himself a chance to play through his high ankle sprain, per sources. Too early to know how the ankle will respond and whether he’ll be available Sunday, but they aren’t ruling it out yet. (The Athletic - Jeff Howe)

FFToday's Take: As Patrick Mahomes showed us last year, quarterbacks can play through a high-ankle sprain. The difference here is that Mahomes was able to put some weight on his ankle later in the same game. Lawrence did not return. Fantasy managers would be wise to assume Lawrence will miss at least Week 14 and probably Week 15. If that ends up being the case, C.J. Beathard will the difficult task of keeping the Jaguars atop the AFC South while trying to solve the defenses of the Browns and Ravens.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Christian Kirk expected to have surgery, core muscle
That will be a wrap on Kirk's 2023 season
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 5 2023, 12:55 pm

#Jaguars WR Christian Kirk suffered a core muscle injury on his catch last night and is expected to need surgery. Rehab for a core muscle issue is generally about eight weeks. If Kirk is ready at eight weeks, he could play in the Super Bowl if Jax makes it. A little earlier puts him in the AFC Title game - if Jax makes that. (Ian Rapoport on X)

FFToday's Take: That will be a wrap on Kirk's 2023 fantasy season. The Jaguars will move forward with Calvin Ridley, Zay Jones and perhaps we'll see more of Parker Washington who went 6-61-0 on six targets in Week 13 against the Bengals. This is Ridley's opportunity move up into the weekly WR2 conversation.

Tennessee Titans

Derrick Henry avoids concussion
Did not play most of fourth quarter or overtime in Week 13
By: Doug Orth | Dec 4 2023, 4:00 pm

#Titans coach Mike Vrabel clarifies that RB Derrick Henry is not in the concussion protocol. That puts him on track to play this week. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)

FFToday's Take: Henry could be perfectly fine, but there is also a chance his symptoms will surface later in the week. There is also a small chance the team is avoiding calling it a concussion so he has a better chance of playing in Week 14 against the Dolphins. Fantasy managers will need to monitor his practice participation throughout the week, especially since the Titans' next game is on Monday night. Tyjae Spears would be set up for a huge workload if Henry does not play.

Houston Texans

Tank Dell lost for the season, broken fibula
Texans lose key piece in receiving corps
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 4 2023, 8:11 am

#Texans dynamic rookie wide receiver Tank Dell lost for season to broken fibula: ‘He will be missed, most definitely’ (Aaron Wilson on X)

FFToday's Take: Dell got injured while blocking on a Dameon Pierce touchdown run. He'll finish the season with a 47-709-7 line and is expected to be ready for camp in 2024. With Dell out, Nico Collins saw 12 targets against the Broncos yesterday and we should see more volume for Robert Woods and Noah Brown down the stretch.

Pittburgh Steelers

Kenny Pickett out a couple weeks, ankle injury
Surgery expected
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 3 2023, 9:35 pm

Steelers’ QB Kenny Pickett’s ankle injury is expected to sideline him “a couple of weeks”, per league source. The Steelers host the Patriots on Thursday night, and Mitchell Trubisky now is expected to be the starter. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Pickett is expected to have surgery on his ankle but won't go on Injured Reserve according to Ian Rapoport. In a year filled with backup quarterbacks, we get another to deal with in Pittsburgh. The Steelers offense has been tame this season, struggling to muster any kind of consistency in the passing game. Don't look for that to change with Trubisky at the controls.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Chris Godwin likely to play, neck injury
Will test in pregame warmups
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 3 2023, 12:10 am

Buccaneers’ WR Chris Godwin, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a neck injury, is likely to play vs. the Panthers but the team needs to make sure he feels OK in pre-game warmups first, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: Godwiin was limited in practice on Thursday with a neck issue. David Moore was elevated from the practice squad on Saturday in case Godwin can't go. Godwin has played second fiddle to Mike Evans this season and has just 1 TD on the year. He's a WR3 option at best.

New Orleans

Chris Olave expected to play in Week 13
Concussion
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 3 2023, 12:08 am

Saints’ WR Chris Olave, listed as questionable for Sunday due to his concussion, is expected to play vs. the Lions, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: Olave has been in the concussion protocol this week but apparently has cleared and will be a go against the Lions. Rashid Shadeed will miss due to a thigh injury. Olave has WR1 upside this week with the Saints being down two of their starting receivers. A.T. Perry and Keith Kirkwood should also see snaps but aren't fantasy considerations.

Cleveland Browns

Joe Flacco to start Week 13 for the Browns
Dorian Thompson-Robinson ruled out
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 1 2023, 4:16 pm

Dorian Thompson-Robinson has been ruled out for Sunday. Joe Flacco to start at QB for #Browns. Denzel Ward (shoulder), Marquise Goodwin (concussion) also out. Nick Harris (knee) is questionable. Myles Garrett will play with no game status designation. (Chris Easterling on X)

FFToday's Take: The Browns are in a world of hurt as they turn to the veteran Flacco will be their fourth starting quarterback of the season. The 16-year veteran started a handful of games for the Jets last season. He's a low-end QB2 option that's likely to favor short to intermediate passes to Elijah Moore and TE David Njoku.

Houston Texans

Dalton Schultz expected to miss Week 13
Hamstring injury
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 1 2023, 12:34 pm

#Texans Friday practice which includes participation from Tank Dell, Sheldon Rankins and Maliek Collins. Not practicing and not expected to play Sunday: Dalton Schultz @KPRC2 (Aaron Wilson on X)

FFToday's Take: Schultz has missed practice this week with a hamstring injury and isn't expected to play. In his place, Brevin Jordan and Eric Saubert are likely to see action with Jordan being the preferred fantasy option. In a week with six team on byes, Jordan will be in the TE2 mix.

Miami Dolphins

Devon Achane expected to play Week 13
Missed last week with knee injury
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 1 2023, 12:20 pm

#Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel tells reporters that Devon Achane will return to play this week against the #Commanders. (Ian Rapoport on X)

FFToday's Take: Achane missed Week 12 with his knee injury. It's likely the Dolphins will be cautious with him as he missed multiple games with a knee issue earlier this year. He'll slot in behind Raheem Mostert but likely ahead of Jeff Wilson who loses his fantasy value as a result.

Cincinnati Bengals

Tee Higgins limited in practice Thursday
Said he plans to play Monday night
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 30 2023, 4:11 pm

Tee Higgins on potentially returning for MNF from the hamstring injury that has kept him out the last three weeks: "That's the plan, for sure." Higgins was officially listed as limited on Thursday (hamstring/ankle) on the injury report. (Paul Dehner Jr. on X)

FFToday's Take: Higgins injured himself during the week leading up to Week 10 and hasn't played since. We'll have a better idea of this availability likely on Saturday evening as the Bengals play on Monday night. If he does play, Higgins will be a Flex option with Jake Browning leading the offense.

Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals part ways with TE Zach Ertz
Hasn't played since Week 7
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 30 2023, 12:35 pm

Trying new things in retirement, so let’s steal @AdamSchefter job for a day... TE Zach Ertz has requested & been granted his release from the Arizona Cardinals. The 3-Time Pro Bowler plans to sign with a contender and make a run at his 2nd Super Bowl ring. (JJ Watt on X)

FFToday's Take: Ertz last played in Week 7 and has been on Injured Reserve with a quad injury. He's yet to have has 21-day window opened. In the meantime, the Cardinals have moved forward with Trey McBride at the position and he's become an integral part of their offense. Ertz will go through waivers before becoming an unrestricted free agent.

Seattle Seahawks

Kenneth Walker listed as Doubtful for Week 13
Oblique injury
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 29 2023, 4:08 pm

The Seahawks ruled out RG Phil Haynes (toe) for tomorrow's game vs. Dallas. RB Ken Walker III (oblique) and WR Dareke Young (abdomen) are doubtful. DT Leonard Williams (ankle), TE Will Dissly (hip) and WR Dee Eskridge (ribs) are questionable. (Brady Henderson on X)

FFToday's Take: Walker missed last as well. In his place, Zach Charbonnet posted a 14-47-0, 4-11-0 line in a touch matchup against the 49ers. He's got another tough matchup against the Cowboys that's given up the fourth fewest points to running backs (PPR).

Indianapolis Colts

Jonathan Taylor set to miss at least 2-3 weeks
Injured thumb in Week 12; IR is a possibility
By: Doug Orth | Nov 28 2023, 11:55 pm

Colts owner @JimIrsay confirms the injury and tells @RomeovilleKid that Jonathan Taylor will have surgery tomorrow and miss a couple weeks. Source says no decision on Injured Reserve yet. It’s possible and will be decided later this week. (The Athletic - James Boyd)

FFToday's Take: IR may remain a possibility, but it seems unlikely at the moment - if only because the Colts are in the playoff race and will not want to keep him one more game than they have to if they can avoid it. If he suffered the expected UCL sprain, the prevailing medical opinion seems to suggest that Taylor will miss at least Week 13 against the Titans and Week 14 against the Bengals. Week 15 may be a more return to play, but much will depend on Taylor's ability to heal quickly. Zack Moss will be the obvious hot waiver-wire add of the week in leagues he is available and should be considered a top-10 fantasy back for however long Taylor is sidelined.

Indianapolis Colts

Jonathan Taylor dealing a thumb issue
Status for Week 13 and perhaps upcoming games in doubt
By: Doug Orth | Nov 28 2023, 1:00 pm

Running back Jonathan Taylor’s status for the Indianapolis Colts’ Sunday road test against the Tennessee Titans is in doubt. The team’s standout running back suffered a thumb injury in last Sunday’s 27-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, who cited a source. The Colts wouldn’t confirm Taylor’s possible injury. NFL Network reported Taylor played the entire second half against the Bucs with the injury. He led the Colts’ to a third straight victory by rushing 15 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns. (FOX 59 - Mike Chappell)

FFToday's Take: HC Shane Steichen will address the media about the injury during his presser on Wednesday. If there is one piece of good news about this report, it is that Taylor played through the injury last week. With that said, a thumb injury would set Taylor up for an increased risk of fumbling and working in tandem with Zack Moss if he plays through it. Fantasy managers who have Taylor and Moss don't have much to worry about, but it sounds as though the ones that only have Taylor need to prepare themselves for an absence.

Miami Dolphins

Devon Achane has decent chance to play in Week 13
Seemingly sat out Black Friday game vs. NYJ as a precaution
By: Doug Orth | Nov 27 2023, 7:40 pm

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel said RB Devon Achane being inactive vs. Jets was due to wanting full confidence in his health & a short week vs. physical opponent. Better chance for Achane with more time ahead of Sunday's game at Commanders. Right now, availability TBD. (Adam Beasley on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: McDaniel cited the short week as something that played a major role in holding Achane out, although the quality of the opponent likely proved to be the determining factor. There is a decent chance Miami will not need Achane next week either against the Commanders, but he will be two weeks removed from what appeared to be a minor injury by that point and two months removed from the initial injury. Fantasy managers should not hesitate getting him back into their lineups as a RB2 with serious RB1 upside.

Arizona Cardinals

Marquise Brown, Emari Demercado expected to play
Both listed as Questionable
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 26 2023, 7:05 am

Cardinals’ WR Marquise Brown, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a heel injury, is expected to play vs. the Rams, per source. Cardinals’ RB Emari Demercado, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a toe injury, also is expected to play. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: Brown missed two practices this week which is cause for concern, however it sounds like he's going to play. The Cardinals No.1 receiver has been a disappointment this season making him a Flex option only in Week 12. Demercado missed last week's game which allowed Tony Jones to operate as the backup running back behind James Conner. Demercado's availability shouldn't affect Conner's value.

Houston Texans

Dameon Pierce expected to play in Week 12
Ankle injury
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 26 2023, 7:00 am

Texans’ RB Dameon Pierce, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an ankle injury, is expected to play vs. the Jaguars, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: Pierce has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury which has allowed Devin Singletary to take control of the backfield in Houston. The coaching staff has noted that they intend to use both backs but I'd expect Singletary to get the start and play in a lead back role against the Jaguars.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Rachaad White expected to play in Week 12
Added to injury report only as a matter of precaution
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 25 2023, 10:00 pm

Buccaneers added RB Rachaad White to their injury report on Saturday as questionable for Sunday’s game only as a matter of precaution, per source. There is nothing structurally wrong with White’s knee, it briefly locked up on Friday and, just to be careful, the Buccaneers added him to their injury report. But he is playing Sunday vs. the Colts and, in the words of a source, “he is fine.” (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: White was added to the injury report on Saturday with a knee issue but it sounds like he'll be good to go for Week 12 against the Colts. Unless we get word he's going to be limited assume he will have his typical role as a solid RB2.

Chicgao Bears

D'Onta Foreman listed as Doubtful for Week 12
Ankle, shin injuries
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 25 2023, 2:50 pm

Bears are listing RB D'Onta Foreman as doubtful for Monday night vs. the Vikings due to ankle and shin injuries. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: Foreman was limited in practice on Friday and Saturday but isn't expected to play Monday night given the Doubtful tag. In his place, expected Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson to handle the majority of the running back work with Herbert in the lead back role.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Rachaad White downgraded to Questionable, knee injury
Bigger roles for Chase Edmonds and Ke’Shawn Vaughn?
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 25 2023, 11:00 am

Buccaneers’ RB Rachaad White has been added to the injury report and downgraded to questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Colts due to a knee injury. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: There's no specifics on the injury yet, so we'll have to wait for further reports. Chase Edmonds and Ke’Shawn Vaughn would see more work if White is inactive.

Arizona Cardinals

Marquise Brown listed as Questionable, Heel injury
Missed practice Thursday and Friday
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 24 2023, 4:09 pm

Arizona Cardinals final injury report for Week 12 against the Rams. Marquise Brown officially questionable after missing back-to-back practices with a heel issue. Cards rookie Michael Wilson is OUT. (Bo Brack on X)

FFToday's Take: Brown has disappointed the last few weeks and hasn't topped 50 receiving yards since Week 5. His status will need to be watched closely this weekend as he's in danger of being on the Inactive list.

Washington Redskins

Gametime decision for RB Antonio Gibson
Toe injury
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 22 2023, 8:30 pm

#Commanders RB Antonio Gibson (questionable, toe) is a true game-time decision and will warm up on the field before the game to help determine availability. (Jeremy Fowler on X)

FFToday's Take: Gibson was limited in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. If he's able to play, he will put a damper on the outlook for Brian Robinson Jr. who posted a 17-73-0, 7-58-0 line last week with Gibson out. We will know Gibson's true status around 3 pm Eastern.

Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith expected to play, Walker listed as Doubtful
Zach Charbonnet expected to start
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 22 2023, 4:09 pm

Pete Carroll says he expects Geno Smith to start tomorrow vs 49ers. Looked very good throwing for the first time since the Rams game today in #Seahawks practice. @thenewstribune Kenneth Walker is not playing for #Seahawks tomorrow vs 49ers, barring a crazy turnaround before tomorrow night in his oblique strain (Greg Bell on X)

FFToday's Take: Smith missed some time in last week's game with an elbow issue but is expected to play in Week 12. Kenneth Walker is not expected to play as he deals with an oblique injury. Zach Charbonnet is set to get the start in a tough matchup the 49ers defense. He's more of an RB2 in this matchup. DK Metcalf is off the injury report and is expected to play.

Los Angeles Rams

Kyren Williams expected to return in Week 12
Rams also part with Darrell Henderson
By: Doug Orth | Nov 21 2023, 9:50 pm

Sean McVay said the Rams will get RB Kyren Williams back against the Cardinals. He's been on IR with an ankle injury. (ESPN.com - Sarah Barshop)

FFToday's Take: Darrell Henderson was waived Tuesday afternoon, suggesting the Rams are confident in his recovery. Williams was a fantasy darling before getting hurt, operating as the overall RB4 in fantasy through six weeks. The former fifth-round pick got by on volume when he was healthy, averaging about 18.5 touches per game. It remains to be seen if McVay saw enough from Royce Freeman over the last month to use the two in a committee moving forward or if Williams will be featured again in short order.

New Orleans

Michael Thomas lands on IR
Knee injury; earliest possible return would be Week 16
By: Doug Orth | Nov 21 2023, 9:40 pm

Saints WR Michael Thomas is going on IR (knee), per source. (Brooke Kirchhofer on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: HC Dennis Allen hinted at this when he told reporters last week that Thomas was dealing with a significant injury. His absence figures to give Chris Olave more opportunities at the very least, although rookie A.T. Perry could benefit the most from a fantasy perspective if he replaces Thomas in the starting lineup. It is also possible Rashid Shaheed would have a slightly higher floor as well.

Seattle Seahawks

No practice for DK Metcalf on Tuesday
Seattle set to play on Thanksgiving night
By: Doug Orth | Nov 21 2023, 9:30 pm

Seahawks officially list Geno Smith as limited today. Also really noteworthy, DK Metcalf a non-participant with a new injury - toe. He's been dealing with hip and rib injuries earlier this year. (Seattle Times - Bob Condotta)

FFToday's Take: As Condotta notes, Metcalf has been playing through injuries for most of the season. However, a toe injury this close to the team's next game does not bode well for his ability to play or the Seahawks' offense as they prepare for the 49ers in less than 48 hours. If Metcalf misses the game, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba could be in line for 10 targets apiece, while Jake Bobo could be useful in deeper leagues.

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Jones dealing with knee injury
Carted off the field in Week 11
By: Doug Orth | Nov 20 2023, 7:30 pm

Aaron Jones appears to have avoided long-term injury after he was carted to the locker room just before halftime, but it certainly doesn't look like he'll be available Thursday for the Thanksgiving clash in Detroit. Said coach Matt LaFleur after Sunday's game, “I don’t think it’s long-term. It certainly looked bad. I was really concerned. Just seeing it live, I didn’t see a replay or anything, but seeing it live, it did not look good. But he’s in good spirits in there, so hopefully it’s a short-term thing.” (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

FFToday's Take: The Packers also lost Emanuel Wilson on Sunday, leaving AJ Dillon as the only healthy back on the roster. Jones will almost certainly be ruled out on a short week and is a good bet to miss Week 13 as well. Assuming that is the case, Dillon will be poised to handle a feature-back workload against a Detroit defense that has done a good job of stuffing runners most of the year. As such, Dillon projects as a low-upside RB2 this week who will likely need to score a touchdown to be a good fantasy start.

Minnesota Vikings

Justin Jefferson deemed questionable for Week 12
Sidelined since Week 5 with hamstring strain
By: Doug Orth | Nov 20 2023, 7:20 pm

Kevin O'Connell termed WR Justin Jefferson as "questionable" for next Monday's game vs. Bears. He also acknowledged "we do have to be smart" about bringing him back, knowing the Vikings have their bye the following week and could get add a "free" week to his 21-day window. (ESPN.com - Kevin Seifert)

FFToday's Take: The "free" week may be the deciding factor here, as Minnesota will probably decide it is better to be 100 percent sure about Jefferson's hamstring than risk a setback. Fantasy managers probably need to see Jefferson log a full practice at some point this week to have any realistic hope of seeing him on the field in Week 12. The other problem here is the Vikings playing on Monday night. While Jefferson is most definitely worth the wait, the early signs point to the stud wideout not returning until Week 14.

Los Angeles Rams

Cooper Kupp day-to-day with ankle sprain
Limited to 18 snaps in Week 11
By: Doug Orth | Nov 20 2023, 7:00 pm

Rams’ WR Cooper Kupp will be considered day to day with the sprained ankle that he suffered Sunday, per sources. Given Kupp’s history with ankle injuries, the Rams will be careful with him as they determine whether he can play Sunday vs. the Cardinals. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)

FFToday's Take: The bad news is that Kupp injured the same right ankle that sidelined him for a chunk of last season. The good news is this is reportedly a low-ankle sprain instead of the high-ankle one that ultimately ended his year in 2022. Fantasy managers should prepare for the Rams to use extreme caution and sit him out this week and react accordingly if the injury turns out to be minor. Given the way the last month has gone, his ceiling appears to be as a WR2 at best right now. Puka Nacua would likely see a nice boost to his fantasy stock if Kupp has to sit.

Seattle Seahawks

Kenneth Walker suffers oblique strain in Week 11
Could miss time
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 19 2023, 8:04 pm

Seahawks’ HC Pete Carroll told reporters that RB Kenneth Walker suffered an “oblique strain that was legit.” Walker is in danger of missing some time; Seahawks host the 49ers on Thanksgiving night. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Walker was injured in the first quarter which allowed Rookie Zach Charbonnet (15-47-0, 6-22-0) to handle the bulk of the running back work. With Seattle playing Thursday night in Week 12, it's safe to assume Walker will miss, leaving Charbonnet as a low-end RB1 option against San Francisco.

Minnesota Vikings

Alexander Mattison expected to play Week 11
Concussion
By: Mike Krueger | Nov 19 2023, 7:00 am

Despite spending the week in concussion protocol and being listed as questionable for Sunday night, Vikings’ RB Alexander Mattison is “good to go” and expected to play vs. the Broncos, per source. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: It was expected that Mattison would miss this week but he was able to buck the trend and clear concussion protocol in time to play. He'll likely split time with Ty Chandler which caps the upside of both. Both are weak Flex options even in a plus matchup given the state of the Vikings run game.
