| Stuck behind all-world talent Bijon Robinson at Texas, Johnson now finds himself in a logjam behind two veterans in the Bears backfield. Unfortunately, the 4th rounder will need things to fall his way to see many meaningful carries. The 6'2, 220-pound bruiser actually came to the Longhorns as a quarterback before switching positions as a freshman. Productive when given the opportunity, he's got 47 games of big-time college experience, and showed enough on tape as backup to be a middle round pick. While not draftable outside giant, or dynasty leagues, Johnson should be a waiver add if something happens to Herbert or Foreman.

Bears agree to terms with RB D'Andre Swift
$16.5 million over the first two years

|  | The #Bears have agreed to terms with RB D’Andre Swift on a three-year, $24 million deal, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
After a career year with the #Eagles, Swift heads to Chicago to be a big piece in Shane Waldron’s offense. Deal negotiated by his agent Trevon Smith. Swift will get $16.5 million over the first two years of his deal with the #Bears, so that’s an average of $8.25 million over two. (Mike Garafolo on X)
FFToday's Take: Swift (25) is coming off his best season as a pro with a 229-1049-5, 39-214-1 line finishing 24th among RBs in PPR leagues. His fantasy stats were muted by the Eagles using the Jalen Hurts tush-push at the goaline. It's and odd move for the Bears who already have Roschon Johnson and Khalil Herbert under contract, but expect Swift the move into the lead-back role in Chicago.
