Three running backs are expected to be active today for New England: Stevenson, Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong Jr.

Waller hasn't played since Week 4 with a hamstring injury and Renfrow hasn't played since Week 9 with an oblique injury. Hopefully, we'll get some indication of their usage by tomorrow. Both will be risky fantasy plays in Week 15.

As of now, Stevenson, Kevin Harris and Pierre Strong Jr. are the likely running backs available for Sunday but Stevenson's health and role are still an issue. FFToday's Take: It's back to Zach as White is dealing with a rib injury after taking multiple shots to the chest last week against the Bills. For the most part, Wilson hasn't been great this season, delivering one spiked week against the Patriots (Wk8). Otherwise, he's been a low-end QB2 most weeks. This hurts the value of Garrett Wilson and slightly dings Zonovan Knight as the offense isn't likely to be as efficient.

Pete Carroll said Tyler Lockett broke a bone in his hand late in the game. They’re still determining the best course of action, but the early indications are that Lockett is expected to miss some time. Carroll said it’s a spiral metacarpal fracture and likened it to what Rashaad Penny suffered as a rookie in 2018. That was in mid-August and he was back by the opener, for reference. FFToday's Take: Seattle will likely lose one of their top playmakers for at least a couple weeks if not the rest of the regular season but we should have a better idea of his timeline in a couple days. Marquise Goodwin is likely to see additional opportunities in the games to come.

Considering it will be his first game in six weeks, it is just as well that the Packers ease him into things. Only fantasy managers in the deepest of leagues should consider starting him despite a plus matchup against the Rams on Monday night.

FFToday's Take: It would not be a surprise if the 49ers end up giving Samuel the rest of the regular season to heal up so he can be in good health for the NFL postseason. In his absence, Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle should be more involved in the passing game in Samuel's absence, which should also free up about five or six targets per game for Jauan Jennings. Fantasy managers in dire need of a roster space can probably drop Samuel, although such a move comes with some risk.

FFToday's Take: It would be shocking if the diagnosis is anything but a torn ACL. Murray went down without being contacted on his first and only rush attempt of the game. His season will go down as a disappointment in fantasy only because he has set the bar so high for himself. In his defense, he never had the opportunity to play with DeAndre Hopkins, Marquise Brown, Rondale Moore and Zach Ertz at the same time this season. Given the timing of his injury, it is entirely possible Murray may not be ready for Week 1 of the 2023 season. Colt McCoy will likely start the rest of the season in place of Murray.

Trenton Irwin logged a season-high 56 offensive snaps as a result and would likely be the Bengals' second-best option in the passing game if Higgins, Boyd and Hayden Hurst (calf) cannot play versus the Bucs in Week 15. If that were to happen, Irwin would be worth a play in only deep leagues with multiple flex spots.

Short of complete desperation, starting any of those three players is not advisable if Pierce doesn't play versus the Chiefs.

FFToday's Take: Ingram had a significant role this past week, playing 42% of the snaps including a lot of passing downs. Will we see Alvin Kamara back in a workhorse role? The Saints are lacking in depth at the position so it's definitely a possibility when they come out of their bye in Week 15.

There’s been much speculation about Darren Waller’s status in recent weeks. The Raiders haven’t said much and there’s even been talk that he could be out of the season. However, that is not the case. In an interview with Heavy Sports, Waller revealed that he’s recovered from his hamstring injury and is planning to be ready to play as soon as he’s eligible to.
“Yeah, I plan on playing this season,” Waller said when asked if he was ready to return. “If they tell me I’m playing this Thursday coming up, then I’m playing this Thursday coming up, so I have my first game back active from IR so I plan on playing it up and finishing strong.” (Heavy.com - Austin Boyd)
FFToday's Take: Waller is eligible to come off IR in time to play this Thursday against the Rams, but it does not sound as though HC Josh McDaniels has any interest in playing Waller without a full week of practice following such a long layoff. It has been a frustrating season for Waller and his fantasy managers, but the few managers who have survived this long without his services could be getting a big boost at a position that has been awful for fantasy purposes this season.

FFToday's Take: Sutton entered Week 13 with at least seven targets, five catches and 66 yards in three post-bye games, so he was one of the few Broncos that was producing before Sunday's early exit. Fantasy managers will need to check his practice reports this week, but Legwold notes Jerry Jeudy missed two full games after he was given a "day-to-day" designation by HC Nathaniel Hackett. If Sutton sits against the Chiefs, Kendall Hinton figures to fill in, although he won't have a ton of upside. The primary beneficiary figures to be Greg Dulcich.

Samaje Perine was very good while handling the overwhelming majority of volume in his absence. Mixon was limited in practice all of last week, so it would surprising if isn't a full-go by Wednesday or Thursday. He will be a solid RB1 option against the Browns in the likely event he plays, while Perine will be a back-end RB1 option if Mixon sits out a third straight contest.

FFToday's Take: Harbaugh noted it was "not impossible" that Jackson could play in Week 14, but it seems likely that he will be ruled out. Jackson has been a serviceable QB1 since he set the fantasy world on fire over the first three weeks of the season. Tyler Huntley will get the nod in Week 14 against the Steelers and should be able to hold the fort down for Jackson's fantasy managers while he is sidelined.

#Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker will have tests today on what coach Pete Carroll called a "jammed" ankle. The injury -- the hope is it's not serious -- is different from a sprain because the joint jammed down and not one side or the other. Strange injury. Anyway, tests coming. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Walker only played 21% of the snaps before leaving with his ankle issue. Tony Jones and DeeJay Dallas picked up the slack. Travis Homer was Inactive. Walker was one of many injuries in Week 13 that caused headaches for fantasy owners.

FFToday's Take: Just brutal for the 49ers who have now lost their top two quarterbacks this season. Trey Lance was injured Week 1 and now Garoppolo in Week 13. Brock Purdy came in and went 25 of 37, 210-2-1 with four carries for -1 yards. He will be the starter moving forward. Upcoming schedule for the 49ers includes TB, @SEA, WAS, @LV and ARI.

FFToday's Take: Jacobs has been dealing with his calf injury for two weeks but is apparently going to play this week. The injury didn't hurt his production last week as he finished with a 33-229-2, 6-74-0 line. He's an RB1 in Week 13.
