Tua Tagovailoa

1) Tua Tagovailoa vs. New England

The Raiders' Geno Smith threw for 362 yards against Mike Vrabel's Patriots and Miami has better receivers. Tagovailoa and the entire offense had a horrible day in Indianapolis, failing to score in the first 56 minutes, but rebound here. The Patriots were tough against the run (Ashton Jeanty 38 rushing yards), but sieve-like against the pass.

2) Dak Prescott vs. New York Giants

Prescott "owns" the Giants with a career 13-2 record and averaging 261 yards and two touchdown passes over his career. He's also much better at home with a 103.6 QB rating at AT&T Stadium. Jayden Daniels had no problems in Week 1 against the Giants and Prescott figures to have a good day too.

3) Joe Burrow vs. Jacksonville

Do I really have to tell you to start "Joey Franchise?" Sure, he had the third worst game of his career (70 games), but he won't have Myles Garrett up in his face this weekend. The Jaguars were ranked 28th last season in fantasy points allowed to opposing QBs and Burrow has a monster day.

1) Michael Penix Jr. @ Minnesota

Although Penix had a very nice opening day, he has three things going against him this week. 1) He may be without his top-two receivers, Drake London and Darnell Mooney (missed Week 1 due to a shoulder issue). London is also dealing with a shoulder injury which kept him off the field for the final drive with the game on the line. 2) In 2024, the Vikings led all defenses in interceptions (24). 3) The Minnesota defense was fifth in sacks last season.

2) Daniel Jones vs. Denver

Yes, Jones had his best day in two years last Sunday (32.2 points), but that was against the Miami Dolphins defense which may be one of the worst in 2025. This week he steps up in class and faces the Denver Broncos and Patrick Surtain II. They held No.1 draft choice Cam Ward to 12-for-28 for 112 yards and zero touchdowns. You can start Jones in Week 3, but not now.

3) Aaron Rodgers vs. Seattle

Don’t believe for a minute that Rodgers wasn’t hyped up to face the team that embarrassed him by having him travel across the country to be told he wasn’t in their plans anymore. He took it out on them by throwing four touchdown passes. He’ll have a bit of a letdown here and let the running game do more than in Week 1. He won’t be horrible, but there will be no top-10 production this weekend.
