Analysis:
I was curious who would emerge at #6 after what has been the
consensus top five all summer long...as it turned out, Marion
Barber won that little contest going away while Frank Gore,
who I thought might end up there, fell to #9 based on concerns
no doubt about the 49ers offense. Thomas Jones clearly is
getting a bump from Brett Favre being in New York as he surged
up to #18 after spending most of the summer in the mid-twenties
in most rankings. Anybody else surprised to see LenDale White
getting this much love from the Geeks? I was. Spots #25-30
feature four rookie running backs with McFadden holding a
slight edge amongst the four. One of those four is likely
to have a breakout year...trying to figure out which one could
be the key to an FF title.
