Tyrone Tracy Jr. was a late-season waiver wire gem for fantasy managers in 2025. After losing his job early on in the year, Tracy capitalized on his opportunity when Skattebo went down, finishing as the RB14 in fantasy points per game from Weeks 10 through 18. He averaged nearly 19 touches and 95.5 total yards per game during that stretch, including a massive 103-rushing-yard, eight-reception performance in Week 18. His explosive run rate and yards after contact proved he deserves some sort of role in this offense.
Going into 2026, Tracy remains locked in the bottom-end of what will likely be a frustrating timeshare backfield. Assuming he's healthy enough to start the season, Skattebo is expected to return to his role as the lead back, which will likely mean that he steals the red zone touches. However, while Skattebo did show surprising ability in the passing game as a rookie, Tracy has a far superior profile in the passing game which gives him a heightened floor in PPR formats. Additionally, if Skattebo suffers any setbacks or misses games, Tracy has already proven he can shoulder the load and produce high-end RB2 numbers, albeit in boom-or-bust fashion.
Draft Tracy as an RB3 with standalone PPR value and high-end handcuff upside. You won't feel great starting him while Skattebo is healthy, but his pass-catching ability keeps him relevant, and he's one injury away from being a weekly must-start.
