RB Aaron Jones stays in Minnesota on revised contract

The Vikings and RB Aaron Jones have agreed to a revised contract to keep him in Minnesota for the 2026 season, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Jones lowers his base salary to $5.5 million and will stay in Minnesota. (Tom Pelissero on X)

FFToday's Take: There were reports earlier this off-season that Jones would be let go to save money against the salary cap. Instead, they will keep the 31-year-old running back for another season. He played 12 games last year finishing as the RB33 in fantasy points per game (half-ppr). He'll form a tandem with Jordan Mason which will cap their ceiling as RB3s or Flex considerations.
