Depth Chart
Drake London has steadily developed into a reliable NFL and fantasy receiver, and the team rewarded him this past off-season with a 4-year, $141 million contract extension. Despite playing only 12 games due to a PCL strain in 2025, London still finished as a top-20 fantasy receiver thanks in large part to a number of massive games, including the six-game stretch mid-season when he tallied 44 receptions for 651 yards and six TDs.

London enters 2026 as the unquestioned lead dog in the receiving game. His role locks in a high target share and his lack of target competition on the outside makes him a solid WR1, despite the questions at QB. Speaking of which, in the nine games Penix started, London saw an eye-popping 39% target share. And with Tua and his seven-yards-per-attempt stat line in Miami last season, we can still project London being heavily involved in the shorter passing game. All of that adds up to a player who is positioned to deliver on the WR1 price this draft season.

Injury Tua Tagovailoa Out for Week 1, Cooper Rush to start

FFToday's Take: Michael Penix Jr. isn't ready to play. Tua reportedly injured his oblique in practice yesterday and has also been bothered by back spams this summer. That leaves Cooper Rush to start Week 1 for the Falcons against the Steelers. This isn't great news for the Falcons offense as a whole, so while they are still worthy of being in your lineup, we should temper expectations for Drake London, Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sustained an oblique injury in practice Thursday and was listed as a limited participant, according to the team's official injury report. During the media viewing portion of practice, Tagovailoa threw a pass during a drill, then immediately grabbed at his back before sitting down on the grass. He did get up quickly and jogged off. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Watching the video it seemed more like a back spasm, but either way, this was the first time Cooper Rush got significant practice time with the starting unit. According to him, he took all the first team reps in the team portion of practice. Michael Penix Jr. (knee) is not ready for game action, meaning Rush would get the start if Tua can't go. None of this good news for Drake London and Kyle Pitts.
