Higgins has shown flashes of dominance over his first two seasons in the NFL, displaying elite body control and hands to go with his 6'4'' frame. He built on his solid rookie season by improving his reception and yardage totals while playing in two less games. Rookie teammate Ja'Marr Chase stole the headlines (and rightfully so) last season, but Higgins had some week-winning games, finished on fire in the run to the Super Bowl, and should benefit greatly from the increased attention that Chase is sure to garner in year two. What's even more impressive about Higgins last year was that he did most of his damage with a torn labrum in his shoulder! Couple his health, with some positive regression in the scoring department, and a quarterback that isn't afraid to chuck it, and you have the recipe for a receiver ready to push into the WR1 conversation without having to pay the premium price of his teammate.

Tyler Boyd likely to miss a game or two Suffered dislocated finger early in Week 14 By: Doug Orth | Mon Dec 12, 8:10 pm

| | Bengals WR Tyler Boyd could miss a week or two after dislocating a finger on his right hand in Sunday's win over the #Browns, but it shouldn't be an extended absence, per source. Healing, pain tolerance will dictate when he returns. (NFL Network - Tom Pelissero)
FFToday's Take: Ja'Marr Chase managed 10 catches against the Browns in part because Tee Higgins and Boyd played a total of three snaps. Trenton Irwin logged a season-high 56 offensive snaps as a result and would likely be the Bengals' second-best option in the passing game if Higgins, Boyd and Hayden Hurst (calf) cannot play versus the Bucs in Week 15. If that were to happen, Irwin would be worth a play in only deep leagues with multiple flex spots.

| Tee Higgins plays one snap in Week 14 Wasn't on final injury report By: Mike Krueger | Sun Dec 11, 2:57 pm

| | Bengals’ WR Tee Higgins has a right hamstring injury and his return today is questionable. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: This situation will be discussed quite a bit among the fantasy community as Higgins was available but only played one snap due to coaches decision despite not being listed on the final injury report. He had two limited practices this week with a hamstring injury.

| Joe Mixon, Tee Higgins good to go for Week 14 Higgings popped up on Injury Report this week By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 9, 3:20 pm

| | #Bengals RB Joe Mixon (concussion) and WR Tee Higgins (hamstring) are off the injury report and good to go Sunday against the #Browns. TE Hayden Hurst (calf) is out. (Tom Pelissero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Higgins popped up on the injury report this week with a hamstring issue and was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. Given he's off the injury report, he can be deployed as a WR2 against the Browns. We might see a little more work for Samaje Perine this week given how well he performed when Mixon was out, but Mixon should still be the lead back.

| Ja'Marr Chase not expected to play in Week 12 Team hopes to have him back Week 13 By: Mike Krueger | Sat Nov 26, 3:22 pm

| | #Bengals star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase will not play against the Titans tomorrow, a source tells me. The hope is the team will have him back for next week’s matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. (Kelsey Conway on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Chase got in some limited practices and QB Joe Burrow expressed optimism earlier in the week suggesting Chase would play. Not the case. Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin have been working as the top three receivers while Chase has been out. Higgins and Boyd are both good options in Week 12,

| Ja'Marr Chase not close to return Hip injury; remains on crutches By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 14, 7:35 pm

| | FWIW, Ja'Marr Chase is still walking with crutches. Will try and get an update from Zac Taylor on a potential timeline for his return today. (Kelsey Conway on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Conway noted a few hours after this tweet that HC Zac Taylor did not offer an update on Chase's timeline. However, the fact he is still on crutches suggests he is going to miss at least two more games. Fantasy managers should expect Tee Higgins to continue to serve as a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 for as long as Chase is sidelined. Tyler Boyd should also serve as a solid low-end WR2/high-end WR3.
