| Rams are bringing back veteran running back Sony Michel. It’s a one-year deal, per source. Michel is a great veteran presence to have in that group, which the Rams didn’t have to start last year and really could have used. He knows the system, is a total pro, and can take some of those complementary shorter-yardage snaps if needed. That’s what this seems like. (Jourdan Rodrigue on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Michel's presence shouldn't be a big threat to Cam Akers workload but he take away some looks around the goaline. Assuming he cracks the roster post-camp, he'll likely slide in as the No.2 running back ahead of Zach Evans and Kyren Williams.
