| Cam Akers to play in Week 18?|
Full practice on Wednesday
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Jan 5, 5:27 pm
|Sean McVay says Cam Akers was "full speed, flying around" at practice today and that he's looking forward to seeing him make his debut this Sunday. (Lindsey Thiry on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Akers Achilles injury occurred in the pre-season (mid-July) so him potentially suiting up in Week 18 is quite surprising. It's difficult to project him with a heavy workload in the season finale. Sony Michel should continue to operate as the lead back.
| Sean McVay on RBs: We'll use them both|
No word on who will start between Darrell Henderson and Sony Michel
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Dec 21, 12:32 pm
|For all the inquiring fantasy minds on Darrell Henderson and Sony Michel playing time for the Rams tonight, here’s Sean McVay: "We'll use them both. Sony has done a great job these last couple weeks. We know how reliable Darrell is. So, both those guys, if they're both up and available, we'll utilize both those guys. As far as the starter, who gets more, it'll be a feel for the flow of the game." (Lindsey Thiry on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: McVay isn't tipping his hand on which running back will get the most touches making it difficult for fantasy owners to make a call on the two backs. The Seahawks have given up the 2nd most fantasy points to the position making both viable Flex plays in Week 15.
| Rams activate Darrell Henderson, OBJ from Covid list|
Tyler Higbee remains on the list
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Dec 18, 4:51 pm
|The Los Angeles Rams have activated receiver Odell Beckham Jr., running back Darrell Henderson and four other players from the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Saturday. The total number of players on reserve/COVID is currently at 25, including starting cornerback Jalen Ramsey, right tackle Rob Havenstein, safety Jordan Fuller, outside linebacker Von Miller and tight end Tyler Higbee. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: The Rams are getting back two of their offensive starters while Higbee remains on the Covid list. Henderson and Beckham will be RB2 and WR2 values respectively although the Rams could decide to involve Sony Michel a bit more putting a cap on Henderson's upside. The Rams and Seahawks plays Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
| Darrell Henderson misses practice Saturday, illness|
Status for Week 14 unclear
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Dec 11, 2:43 pm
|Sean McVay says Darrell Henderson won't participate in practice today because of an illness and that he does not have more information. "Once a guy is not feeling good, we run some of the standard testing and we haven't gotten any of that stuff back yet as it relates to COVID." (Lindsey Thiry on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Rams play Monday night so we'll have to wait for more information on Henderson's status. If he ends up sitting, Sony Michel would once again find himself in workhorse role and be a solid RB2 with RB1 upside against the Cardinals.
| Darrell Henderson a gametime decision|
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Dec 5, 7:20 am
|Rams will test running back Darrell Henderson and his thigh before Sunday’s game to see if he can play vs. the Jaguars, but the team is not optimistic about him being able to play, per sources. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Considering the Rams play late this afternoon, Henderson owners need to have plan B in place. Sony Michel would be in a workhorse role against the Jaguars if Henderson sits. In addition, Odell Beckham Jr. is expected to play despite a hip injury.

Suffered quad strain in Week 12 loss to Packers
By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 29, 8:00 pm
|RB Darrell Henderson nursing a quad strain that will be monitored through week, McVay said. (LA Times - Gary Klein)|
FFToday's Take: Henderson will almost certainly be limited at best in practice this week. Considering the Rams have a winnable game against the Jaguars on deck - even given how poorly they have played in recent weeks - it would make sense for the Rams to give the bulk of backfield work to Sony Michel and let Henderson heal.
