Melvin Gordon dumped by Denver Veteran back waived Monday By: Doug Orth | Nov 21 2022, 5:25 pm
Sources: The #Broncos make a move following Sunday’s loss, as Denver has waived veteran RB Melvin Gordon. A respected player who spent 3 years with the Broncos, Gordon’s fumbles proved too much. A fresh start for all parties. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)
FFToday's Take:Gordon's fumbling issues ultimately led to his demise in Denver. The Broncos' offense had bigger issues than Gordon's ball security problems, but he should be able to land on his feet relatively quickly as a potential 1B option for a contending team. As for Denver, it is left with Latavius Murray, Marlon Mack and practice-squader Devine Ozigbo until Mike Boone (ankle) possibly returns from IR in Week 13. Murray has low-end RB2 upside in Week 12 and possibly beyond.
