Injury James Robinson out for Week 17
Ankle injury
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Dec 30, 9:10 am

Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars RB James Robinson (ankle) won't play against the Colts. Coach Doug Marrone: "I think it's safe to say he'll be out." So Robinson will finish his rookie season with 1,070 yards rushing. (Michael DiRocco on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Robinson was a fantasy football difference maker in 2020 finishing with 1070 rushing yards, 10 TDs and 344 receiving yards. Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo should handle the rushing duties in the season finale against the Colts with Dare being the lead back.

Jacksonville Jaguars
Transactions and updates for tomorrow’s game against the Bears: RB James Robinson has been downgraded to OUT with an ankle injury. (Jaguars on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Robinson missed practice all week. Expect to see Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo handle the running back duties for the Jags. We don't have any indication at this point how the workload may be split, leaving both guys as desperation plays only against the Bears.

Jacksonville Jaguars
For the third straight day, Jaguars’ rookie RB James Robinson did not practice due to his ankle injury. Jaguars will list him as questionable for Sunday vs. Bears. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Robinson is going to come down to a gametime call on Sunday. If he sits, some combination of Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo would handle the Jags running back duties.

Injury James Robinson dealing with ankle injury
Status uncertain for Week 16
By: Doug Orth | Mon Dec 21, 7:30 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
RB James Robinson is questionable to return with an ankle injury. (Jaguars PR)

FFToday's Take: It's unknown at this point how serious the injury is, but it's entirely possible Jacksonville decides it has no reason to bring him back this season. Dare Ogunbowale handled the only two carries by a running back that didn't go to Robinson in Week 15, and he would likely vie with Devine Ozigbo for touches if Robinson sits out versus the Bears in Week 16. If that ends up happening, only the most desperate of owners should consider playing Ogunbowale or Ozigbo.
