Ex-Titan has been "focal point" through first five practices

| Jalen Hurts was also without DeVonta Smith, who did not practice because of a groin injury. As a result, Hurts targeted A.J. Brown early and often, primarily on Brown’s signature in-breaking routes. Brown has been the focal point of the offense through five days of training camp. Maybe that’s just Hurts trying to build chemistry with his new star wide receiver, or maybe it’s a preview of what’s to come.

FFToday's Take: It should come as no surprise that Brown is a focal point of the offense, but his stock may have taken a bit of a hit in the offseason because Hurts is a less accurate quarterback than Ryan Tannehill. The Eagles may be able to make up for it with volume this season, as their moves this spring suggest HC Nick Sirianni wants to throw the ball like they did early last season. Brown should be considered a strong low-end WR1 option in drafts.
