Uh oh. Despite the win, Brown was once again an afterthought
in the offense as he barely registered on the stat sheet against
the Packers. It’s safe to say that DeVonta Smith has ascended
to the WR1 role in this pass offense, but I have a sneaky feeling
that Brown makes a mark in this NFC battle on Sunday night. The
Detroit secondary remains banged up, and their aggressive man-to-man
defense often leaves their corners on an island. Brown pops a
long touchdown, and silences the grumbling. For now….
With noodle armed Dillon Gabriel unable to generate a downfield
passing game, and fresh off a Week 8 goose-egg, Jeudy had become
waiver fodder in most leagues. But then the Browns had their bye
and switched play-callers, and suddenly the 2nd half of 2024 version
of Jeudy returned! Jeudy was nearly the entire Cleveland passing
game, piling up six receptions, 78 yards and a score on 12 targets.
He’s only seen that volume one other time this year, but
in a game the Browns figure to be in near constant negative game
script, he could easily reach double digit targets again. Scoop
him up and plug him in as a WR3/FLEX.
Due to a rash of injuries at the position, Wilson finds himself
as the WR1 for the Cardinals in Week 11. With San Fran sure to
devote plenty of attention to Trey McBride, Wilson should find
plenty of favorable matchups down the field. Jacoby Brissett is
playing the best ball of his career, and has brought this passing
game back from the dead. I see 50+ yards and a score from Wilson
in this one, making him an upside FLEX play you might be able
to snag off of waivers.

Titans WRs vs HOU
The rookie duo of Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike have flashed
at times this season, and the ghost of Calvin Ridley might even
return this week, but none of these guys should grace fantasy
lineups in Week 11. Even coming off a bye, the Titans have little
chance to get much going against an elite Texan defense that gobbled
up this passing game in a Week 4 shutout.
Johnston was a fantasy darling in the first four weeks of the
season, but as the grim reaper came for nearly the entire Charger
offensive line, Johnston has tailed off. As the deep ball receiver
in the offense, Herbert hasn’t had the time to let those routes
develop. Instead, Ladd McConkey and rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden
II have been the focal points. Down three starting tackles, Herbert
was 23rd among quarterbacks in air yards last week and this trend
should continue for the foreseeable future. Johnson has fallen
from must start to desperation.
Washington has been a bright spot for this dismal Jags offense
this year, especially last week, as he found the endzone twice
(once by punt return). Sure, he’s had a few big target weeks,
but with Jakobi Meyers getting more acclimated, and the possible
return of both TE Brenton Strange and BTJ, most of those targets
could dry up. Washington is a great glue guy as a slot receiver
that commands defensive respect, but outside of PPR leagues, the
matchup and general offensive vibe make me hesitant to give him
a start.
