Team hopes rookie WR will be available for opener

| DeVante Parker returned to the practice field for the first time since undergoing foot surgery in June. The team remains quietly hopefully that Parker, the team’s first-round pick and most dynamic receiver, will be available when the season begins Sept. 13. Nearly three months removed from a procedure to replace a screw in his left foot, Parker was able to practice in a limited capacity Monday. (Miami Herald)
FFToday's Take: The Dolphins have targeted Week 1 as a possibility all along, so he appears to be right on track. A slow start should be assumed for the No. 14 overall pick, but patient owners willing to roll the dice on Ryan Tannehill's No. 1 receiver of the future around the 10th round could be pleasantly surprised by the return he is able to provide on that investment. Parker drew A.J. Green comparisons during the draft process and should be an immediate factor in the red zone when healthy.
