|Miami used a first-round pick in 2014 to draft DeVante Parker out of Louisville. After suffering a preseason foot injury, Parker was rendered an afterthought in the offense for most of his rookie season until injuries to other receivers opened up playing time for him late in the year. He recorded 22 catches for 445 yards and three scores over the teamís final six games and showed the ability that made him a hot commodity in dynasty circles during the NFL pre and post-draft process. Coach Adam Gase praised Parkerís skill set once he took the job, and it now looks like the second-year player could be heading towards a breakout season. At 6í3Ē and 210 pounds heís the biggest wide receiver on the team among those that should see significant playing time. He should be a favored red-zone target for Tannehill while also possessing enough speed to be a field stretcher. Donít be surprised to see him lead the team in receptions, yards and touchdowns this season.
|Dolphins set to talk with Kenny Stills this week|
Free agent WR to command $12 million per year?
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Feb 27, 8:15 am
|According to sources familiar with the situation, the Dolphins this week hope to make a strong pitch to the wide receiverís (Kenny Stills) representation in hopes of getting feedback that will suggest Stills will be re-signing with the team. The Stills camp is already aware of the receiverís potential value in free agency. And the market is said to already be in the $12-million-a-year range, per sources.
FFToday's Take: If the $12 million per year leak (likely by Stills' agent) is true, then its likely the Dolphins would let him walk. Stills led the Dolphins with 9 TDs last season and was mainly used as a deep threat (42 catches, 726 yds). With DeVante Parker and Jarvis Landry under control it would make sense for the Dolphins to spend their money plugging other position holes.
| DeVante Parker will be active|
Showed well in pregame warmups
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Dec 4, 11:05 am
|Dolphins Parker just worked out and is good to go! He will be up and play (Jay Glazer)|
FFToday's Take: DeVante Parker went through pregame warmups is good enough to be active despite a back injury. He's not a recommended fantasy play given he's playing at less than 100%.
| DeVante Parker misses practice Friday|
Unlikely to be cleared before Sunday
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 2, 1:45 pm
|Dolphins receiver DeVante Parker did not participate in the portion of practice open to reporters on Friday, more indication that heís unlikely to be cleared for Sundayís game at Baltimore.

FFToday's Take: It sounds like Parker will be on the Inactive list this Sunday. Kenny Stills should see an increased workload along with Jarvis Landry and Leonte Carroo. The Dolphins-Ravens game has the makings of a low-scoring affair making this a game to avoid for fantasy owners.
