| Eifert caught "virtually everything" in spring Fully recovered from shoulder, elbow injuries By: Doug Orth | Jun 22 2015, 5:30 pm
| (Bengals TE Tyler Eifert) had a strong spring, too. He was being brought along a little slower (than WR Marvin Jones) mainly because coaches and trainers simply didn't want to run the risk of getting him hurt. He's fully recovered from late-season shoulder surgery, and his dislocated elbow has healed. Eifert looks healthy. He caught virtually everything thrown his way during open practices, and looked sharp in his routes. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: The Bengals insist they are playing it cautiously with Eifert, who was lost for the season with the elbow injury early in Week 1 after catching a pass on each of the team's first three series. With Jermaine Gresham no longer around, the No. 21 overall pick in 2013 could easily absorb the 62 catches he leaves behind and become an every-week fantasy TE1. Eifert and A.J. Green should be Andy Dalton's primary targets inside and outside the red zone, meaning Eifert could be poised for a top-10 season at his position if he can just stay healthy.
