Jerome Simpson suspended three games Violating the NFL substance abuse policy By: Mike Krueger | Aug 29 2014, 11:15 am
Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson’s three-game suspension for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Abuse of Substances was upheld by the NFL. Simpson missed practice on Aug. 18 to meet with the league in New York to appeal the suspension stemming from a drunken-driving arrest last season. (Minneapolis Tribune)
FFToday's Take:This is the second time Simpson has been suspended. He served a three-game suspension back in 2012 for a drug arrest. Simpson is undraftable at this point and no better than fourth on the depth chart behind Cordarrelle Patterson, Greg Jennings and Jarius Wright.
