Spiller, Jackson entering into contract years
Bills have decisions to make at RB position
By: Mike Krueger | May 4 2014, 9:00 pm

Chief among those (issues) is the long-term future at running back, where both C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson are headed into the final year of their contracts. The Bills have performed their due diligence in looking at running backs during the pre-draft process, hosting six prospects at One Bills Drive. (Buffalo News)

FFToday's Take: Jackson (34) will almost certainly be allowed to walk at the end of this season while an attempt to keep Spiller (27) should be expected. The market for running backs is on the decline as teams are unwilling to issue big days to the position but Spiller could sign a deal similar to Chris Johnson's ($4 million per). Expect negotiations to pick up after the draft.
