| Titans officially release Chris Johnson Set to make $8 million in 2014 By: Mike Krueger | Apr 4 2014, 1:00 pm
| Running back Chris Johnson was released by the Tennessee Titans on Friday, the team announced. "We made an effort to trade Chris but were unable to do so. We wish Chris the best and thank him for the six seasons he spent with us." He was scheduled to make $8 million in 2014. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: We knew this was coming and now it's official. Johnson has rushed for at least 1000 yards during his first six years in the league. There has been reported interest from the Jets, Bills, Dolphins, Falcons but with the Dolphins acquiring Knowshon Moreno, you can cross the Fins off the list. Many other teams will be interested now that trade compensation is not a factor.
