With apologies to Tim Patrick (knee), who totaled 104 catches, 1,476 yards, and 11 TDs in 2020-21 before tearing his ACL last August, Mims looks to be the more interesting player to watch behind Jeudy and Sutton. Patrick turns 30 in November, and it's always worrisome when fringe guys suffer serious injuries as there are times when, even if they only lose half a step, they didn't have half a step to lose. Like Sutton, Patrick's contract has an "out" after the season, so his long-term outlook in Denver is grim.
Circling back to Mims, he's undersized (5-foot-11, 183 pounds) but should be a nice fit in the slot where his quickness and burst could make him a weapon on quick hitters and deep balls, something Wilson has traditionally done well over his career. While not worth a draft pick, Mims could be added to your watch list, particularly in larger leagues.

Jerry Jeudy not expected to play in Week 1 Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Sun Sep 10, 7:10 am

| | Broncos’ WR Jerry Jeudy, listed as questionable for today due to a hamstring injury, is not expected to play vs. the Raiders, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Jeudy got in some limited practice time this week but ultimately will sit out in order to heal his hamstring injury. This elevates the projected target volume for Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims who are fine fantasy options against the Raiders in Week 1.

| Jerry Jeudy leaves practice with hamstring injury MRI will be done By: Mike Krueger | Thu Aug 24, 2:06 pm

| | Sean Payton on Jerry Jeudy: “It’s a hamstring. We’ll get an MRI. ... Hopefully it’s not anything long term.” (Mike Klis on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: It wouldn't be an NFL season without the Broncos dealing with injuries to their wide receiver room. Tim Patrick suffered an Achilles injury at the end of July and now Jeudy could miss some time with a hamstring issue. We'll know more about his timeframe after the MRI, but Marvin Mims and perhaps tight end Greg Dulcich may be thrust into bigger roles early in the season out of necessity.

| WR Tim Patrick likely out with torn Achilles Broncos down two receivers By: Mike Krueger | Mon Jul 31, 3:25 pm

| | New Broncos WR coach Keary Colbert has had better days. KJ Hamler down for a while with heart issue; fear that Tim Patrick has torn Achilles. In a procedural move, Hamler will appear on today’s wire as waived/non-football illness. However, the door is open for his return to the Broncos or any team early this season. (Mike Klis on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Both Patrick and Hamler have had trouble staying on the field. Hamler has played just 10 games the last two seasons while Patrick missed all of 2022 with an ACL injury. This opens the door for rookie Marvin Mims who the Broncos drafted back in April. They also have Marquez Callaway that Sean Payton recruited from the Saints.
