Depth Chart
A former first-round NFL Draft pick, Dalton Kincaid was once looked at as an elite fantasy tight end, but the past few seasons have seen him end up as waiver wire fodder. He finished last season at TE16 after missing four games. If you look at his per-game average, he was actually just a single point behind low-end TE1s like Travis Kelce and Jake Ferguson, but he never really did much to separate from the pack.

The underlying talent is still there, but he still has the issue of Dawson Knox refusing to disappear. Knox hauled in 36 receptions for 417 yards and 4 touchdowns last year, which really wasn't so far off from what Kincaid finished with. That frustrating timeshare destroys Kincaid's reliable target floor along with his ceiling.

To make matters worse, the front office added D.J. Moore to the offense this offseason, taking another huge slice out of the passing pie. We simply cannot trust Kincaid every week when he is constantly fighting not only Knox, but also Moore and Shakir for underneath targets.

Do not draft him as your primary tight end unless you are playing in very deep formats, but the talent is still enticing enough to make him a potential TE2 for fantasy managers this draft season.
