Colby Parkinson stepped up in a big way in his third season, scoring eight touchdowns (tied for third-most in the NFL) in just 14 games within the Rams' high-powered offense in 2025. Parkinson split time in a crowded tight end room alongside veteran Tyler Higbee and young tight ends Terrance Ferguson and Davis Allen, but Parkinson dominated the passing game opportunities, hauling in 43 catches for 408 yards. Perhaps more importantly, when the Rams' wide receivers dealt with injuries down the stretch, they pivoted to a tight end-centric approach, allowing Parkinson to reveal himself as a viable third option for Matthew Stafford.
While the end zone efficiency was undoubtedly impressive as he scored on nearly 20 percent of his total catches for the season in 2025, Parkinson remains a highly volatile, touchdown-reliable fantasy asset, more akin to the likes of Hunter Henry than the more reliable options like Travis Kelce or Trey McBride. The tight end position saw a boom in young talent over the past few seasons, so players like Parkinson will more than likely fill the role of bye week replacements at the position who bounce around from team to team in most leagues. With Nacua and Adams healthy and the tight end room still very deep, Parkinson just doesn't project the raw target volume necessary to establish a safe weekly floor.
