Dolphins place Myles Gaskin on COVID-19 list RB Elijah McGuire elevated from practice squad By: Mike Krueger | Sat Dec 12, 3:47 pm

Dolphins placed RB Myles Gaskin on the reserve/COVID-19 list. That’s a blow to their running game. Team elevated TE Chris Myarick and DE Tyshun Render as COVID-19 replacements for Sunday’s. RB Elijah McGuire also elevated. (Armando Salguero on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: With Salvon Ahmed and Matt Breida out, it appears DeAndre Washington, Patrick Laird and McGuire will be the three running backs for the Dolphins against the Chiefs on Sunday. Washington (former Chief) is inline to see the most opportunities of this group but realistically, his upside is capped at a RB2 level.

Myles Gaskin activated off injured reserve Knee injury By: Mike Krueger | Sat Dec 5, 3:45 pm

We have activated RB Myles Gaskin off injured reserve. We have also elevated S Nate Holley as a COVID-19 replacement for Sunday’s game. (Miami Dolphins on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: With the Dolphins down to Gaskin at Patrick Laird at the running back position it's safe to assume Gaskin will get the bulk of work at the position. DeAndre Washington (hamstring) and Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) are listed as Doubtful. Gaskin is an easy RB2 against the Bengals.

Salvon Ahmed, DeAndre Washington Doubtful for MIA Myles Gaskin could be activated By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 4, 1:42 pm

Salvon Ahmed and DeAndre Washington both doubtful. Myles Gaskin might be activated for Sunday. Matt Breida has an illness. (Joe Schad on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: It seems likely that Myles Gaskin will be activated and get the bulk of work at running back for the Dolphins this week but we should get clarification on the situation Saturday. There's been no official announcement on Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) but Ryan Fitzpatrick is trending to be the starter.

Decision on Myles Gaskin likely coming Saturday Sidelined since Week 8 with knee injury By: Doug Orth | Thu Dec 3, 10:00 pm

| |
I've got a few inquiries about Myles Gaskin - he's not on the 53-man roster so the Dolphins don't have to update his practice status. He has been participating in practice over the last 2 weeks though. They have until Saturday afternoon to activate him for him to play Sunday. (ESPN - Cameron Wolfe)
FFToday's Take: Gaskin is more likely than not to play versus the Bengals after head coach Brian Flores needed to "watch the film" last week before opting to give his starting running back one more week to recover. Given the fact that Salvon Ahmed remains limited in practice and the rest of the depth chart hasn't inspired much confidence, Gaskin should return to a featured role in the likely event he is activated.

Salvon Ahmed misses another practice Thursday Shoulder injury By: Doug Orth | Thu Nov 26, 10:40 pm

| |
Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) did not practice for a second straight day Thursday, Nov. 26. (Dolphins.com)
FFToday's Take: Ahmed left Week 11 briefly with a shoulder injury before returning, so it is unclear if these missed practices are the result of him being in too much pain or if Miami is being overly cautious. There's also no word yet on whether or not Myles Gaskin was allowed to shed his non-contact jersey after returning to practice Wednesday. Gaskin appears to have a better chance of playing this week, but Matt Breida may get the start if neither one can go.

Myles Gaskin out three weeks with sprained MCL Dolphins pick up RB DeAndre Washington from KC By: Mike Krueger | Tue Nov 3, 4:30 pm

| |
Per source, reason Dolphins acquired RB today is Myles Gaskin has sprained MCL and expected to miss three games (Barry Jackson on Twitter)
FFToday's Take: Gaskin has been a solid fantasy RB starter this season especially in PPR leagues. Next up on the depth chart is Matt Brieda Jordan Howard and Patrick Laird. Howard has been inactive recently but should be active this week against the Rams. The Dolphins also made a trade with Kansas City for RB DeAndre Washington.
