 A.J. Brown trade to the Patriots is happening
Eagles receive 2028 1st pick, 2027 5th-round pick

|  | Finally! The Eagles have agreed to trade three-time Pro Bowl WR A.J. Brown to the Patriots, who will send a 2028 1st-round pick and 2027 5th-round pick to Philadelphia, sources tell The Insiders.

FFToday's Take: We knew this deal has been in the works and now it's happening. The Patriots were reluctant to part with a first round pick next season but ultimately gave up their 2028 1st round pick as a compromise. Brown should immediately step into the No.1 wide receiver role in New England with Romeo Doubs occupying the No.2 option. The Eagles have been stockpiling depth at the receiver this entire off-season including Dontayvion Wicks, rookie Makai Lemon and Marquise Brown.

| | The Eagles remain open to trading A.J. Brown, the Patriots remain highly interested in acquiring the star receiver, and conversations are expected to resume shortly on or before June 1, likely culminating in a deal, per league sources.
As one source said about the Patriots' pursuit of Brown, they'll “definitely be engaging then.”

FFToday's Take: Brown is not expected to attend the Eagles off-season workout program which begins today. If the two sides wait until after June 1st, then the Eagles will be able to spread out the $40 million cap hit over the 2026 and 2027 seasons. The Eagles have been stockpiling wide receivers this off-season, bringing in free agents Marquise Brown and Elijah Moore and trading for Packers wideout Dontayvion Wicks.

FFToday's Take: We've been hearing a lot of rumblings about A.J. Brown getting traded and this is going to add fuel to the fire. Wicks is signing a one-year extension with Philadelphia The Eagles have added Marquise Brown, Elijah Moore and Wicks this off-season. The Packers are now left with Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden as their top three wideouts.

FFToday's Take: The Eagles lost Jahan Dotson in free agency to the Falcons so Brown will fill the void as the Eagles No.3 receiver behind A.J. Brown (trade?) and DeVonta Smith. Hollywood played a rotational role with the Chiefs last season finishing with a 49-587-5 line. Assuming A.J. Brown sticks with the Eagles, Hollywood can be avoided in redraft leagues in 2026.
| Dallas Goedert sticking in Philadelphia, one-year deal
Eagles avoid a dead-cap hit of more than $20 million

| | Back to Philly for Dallas Goedert: The #Eagles have agreed to terms with the eight-year veteran TE on a one-year deal, sources tell me and @RapSheet.
It was a complicated process for the last week but Goedert wanted to stay and the sides found a way to make it work. (Mike Garafolo on X)
FFToday's Take: The deal is reportedly worth $7 million. Goedert (31) spiked 11 touchdowns in 2025 on the way to his best fantasy finish to date (TE3). His usage around the goaline was encouraging but it's hard to justify him as anything more than a TE2 in 2026 even if wideout A.J. Brown eventually gets traded.
