Say what you will about his playoff failings, but Jackson enjoyed one of the best statistical seasons of all time last season, which says a lot, since he's already had two MVP awards. He surpassed 4,000 yards passing for the first time in his career, threw for a career best 41 touchdowns, and only tossed four picks. He did all this while continuing to be an elite runner, piling up 915 yards, his most since 2020. Not only was he incredibly consistent, but he's one of a handful of players that can single handedly win you a week all by himself.
Not only do all the important skill position players return, but the addition of veteran DeAndre Hopkins gives Jackson another reliable set of hands at the intermediate, and red zone level. With Derrick Henry forcing defenses to keep extra men in the box, expect Jackson to repeat his passing efficiency numbers. While it's going to be tough to repeat the 41 passing scores, Jackson should once again contend to be fantasy's best producer.

FFToday's Take: The bigger immediate question will be how much the Ravens will get punished for their injury report "deceit" of Jackson's practice status late last week. It goes without saying that every offensive player in Baltimore is better when Jackson is playing, and it should be noted that the two-time MVP was the leading scorer in fantasy through three full games. Assuming he is cleared before Thursday, he should be started in all leagues.

FFToday's Take: Thanks for the clarity Ravens. Lamar was "limited" all week and appears set to return in Week 9 against Miami on Thursday night. Tyler Huntley will get the start against the Bears on Sunday. Huntley does have some rushing ability but his highest ever QB finish was QB10 in Week 17 last season.

FFToday's Take: Lamar was limited on Wednesday and Thursday but got in a full practice on Friday. More than likely, he's going to play this week against the Bears, but we need to wait for official word from the team.

FFToday's Take: Harbaugh made it clear that Jackson's ability to keep playing against the Chiefs had nothing to do with the size of the Ravens' deficit and everything to do with the quarterback's ability to play through his hamstring issue. As a result, fantasy managers need to prepare as if Jackson may not be available against the Texans in Week 5 - at least for now. Cooper Rush would start if Jackson cannot and is not worth considering outside of superflex/two-quarterback leagues.
