FFToday's Take: The Chiefs needs some insurance to begin the 2026 season as Patrick Mahomes is currently rehabbing an ACL injury suffered in mid-December. Even if he's ready for Week 1, it's unlikely he'll be at 100 percent. Fields had a season to forget with the Jets in 2025 but will get a lot of work with the No.1 offense this pre-season and could make a couple starts to be begin 2026 for the Chiefs. However, his season-long outlook in redraft leagues is minimal.

Back for more: #Chiefs future Hall of Fame TE Travis Kelce is expected to return to Kansas City for a 14th season, a message that’s been delivered to teams who will want him. At 36, Kelce’s play was at its usual level, landing him in the Pro Bowl. He’s loyal to KC & will stay. (Ian Rapoport on X)

FFToday's Take: Kelce has been mulling retirement at age 36 but it appears he will return for another season in Kansas City with Patrick Mahomes. Kelce finished as the TE4 in half-ppr leagues and the TE10 in fantasy points per game last season. He's obviously on the downside of his career and won't be top tier fantasy tight end in 2026, but will likely settle in as a mid-round pick in most redraft leagues.
