|It goes without saying that Parker has not lived up to his first-round draft cost in his four seasons with the Dolphins. The former Louisville Cardinal has just two receiving touchdowns in his last 24 games and has never posted more than 750 yards in any season.
Instead of cutting Parker loose, the team signed him to a two-year, $10 million contract this season. If you are going to phone in the year with the hope of tanking for Tuoa, it makes sense to give a gun-slinging quarterback like Ryan Fitzpatrick a big-bodied wide receiver like Parker who can stretch the field and win contested balls.
While many fantasy owners have been burned by Parker in the past and won't touch him with a ten-foot pole, if you are in a deep league with ample bench space, taking a flier on Parker in the last few rounds is worth the risk.

Allen Hurns DNP Wednesday, DeVante Parker limited
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Wed Dec 11, 8:26 pm
|Miami Dolphins receivers DeVante Parker and Albert Wilson may be in the NFL’s concussion protocol, but both players took a step toward their return by being limited participants in practice on Wednesday.
Parker and Wilson — who both suffered concussions last Sunday against the New York Jets — stretched and warmed up, then participated in position drills while wearing red, non-contact jerseys at the start of practice.
The Dolphins could have some concern with another receiver before Sunday’s game: Allen Hurns did not practice on Wednesday, dealing with ankle and knee injuries he has played through in recent weeks. (Orlando Sen-Sentinel)|
FFToday's Take: Both Parker and Wilson will remain in the protocol with hopes to ramp up their practice participation this week as the Dolphins prepare for Sunday’s road game against the New York Giants, so whomever is healthy enough to play Sunday should be worth a look in fantasy.
| Preston Williams out for the season|

|Preston Williams out for season. (Barry Jackson on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Williams suffered an ACL injury yesterday in Miami's first victory of the season over the Jets. He was developing into a weekly WR3 option but that job will now fall to DeVante Parker. Tight End Mike Gesicki turned in his best performance of the season yesterday with a 6-95-0 line.
