|Matt Breida posted his second straight season averaging over five yards per carry as a member of the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers. He boasts sprinter speed, above-average pass-catching ability, and he is a threat to take it to the house anywhere on the field.
Unfortunately for Breida, he went from the league's best rushing offense to the worst, and Kyle Shanahan's innovative running game will not be there for Breida as a member of the Dolphins.
Look for Breida to share the load with Jordan Howard. Breida is a far more talented pass catcher than Howard, but he is too small to be an every down, between the tackles type of back.
|Salvon Ahmed misses another practice Thursday|

|Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) did not practice for a second straight day Thursday, Nov. 26. (Dolphins.com)|
FFToday's Take: Ahmed left Week 11 briefly with a shoulder injury before returning, so it is unclear if these missed practices are the result of him being in too much pain or if Miami is being overly cautious. There's also no word yet on whether or not Myles Gaskin was allowed to shed his non-contact jersey after returning to practice Wednesday. Gaskin appears to have a better chance of playing this week, but Matt Breida may get the start if neither one can go.

Hamstring injury for Breida
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 5, 11:50 am
|Matt Breida (hamstring) still missing from Dolphins practice. So looks like Jordan Howard, Patrick Laird (who is practicing with an ankle issue) and Salvon Ahmed the likely troika at Arizona. (Barry Jackson on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Dolphins have run into problems this week at the running back position. With Gaskin headed to IR and Breida missing practice with a hamstring injury, we're looking at Jordan Howard and Patrick Laird as the two main RBs against Arizona. Howard has some TD upside but this is largely a situation to avoid.
