| N'Keal Harry expected to practice this week|
Ankle injury has sidelined first-round pick all season
By: Doug Orth | Mon Oct 14, 5:15 pm
|A potential big lift coming: The Patriots are expected to have first-round WR N'Keal Harry (ankle) practice this week as he works back from Injured Reserve, I’m told. Assuming all goes well, he should work right into the offense. (NFL Network - Ian Rapoport)|
FFToday's Take: Harry isn't eligible to make his pro debut until Week 9, but his presence could end up being a huge lift for an offense that is currently without Phillip Dorsett and counting on Josh Gordon to hold up (and he was hurt in Week 6). It's entirely possible Harry has missed too much time at this point to make a significant contribution to the offense this year, but he's also a bigger receiver that could add another dimension in the red zone if he stays healthy.
|Pats sign Antonio Brown, one-year deal|
$15 million that includes $9 million signing bonus
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Sep 7, 5:15 pm
|Antonio Brown has agreed to terms with the Patriots, per Drew Rosenhaus. Here’s the deal, per Antonio Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus: It is a one-year contract worth up to $15 million that includes a $9 million signing bonus. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Well, that didn't take long. Given Brown's propensity for drama it's fair to wonder how many games he will actually play in New England but for now this a huge boost for the Pats offense overall. Brown won't be eligible to play until Week 2, which is too bad considering the Pats play the Steelers Sunday night. The Pats now sport a starting WR corps of AB, Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon.
| N'Keal Harry lands on short-term IR|
Ankle injury, expected to return this season
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Sep 2, 11:45 am
|Patriots are placing rookie first-round pick N'Keal Harry on injured reserve, per source. Harry has battled an ankle injury during the summer. He is expected to return this season. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Harry has been battling an ankle injury this summer so the time off should help him heal. In a related move the team is bringing back Demaryius Thomas who they released during final cuts on Saturday. Neither player has much fantasy value in redraft leagues at the moment. Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon are the WRs to target in New England.
|Josh Gordon conditionally reinstated by league|
Allowed to be at the team facility on Sunday
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Aug 16, 5:45 pm
|The NFL is conditionally reinstating #Patriots WR Josh Gordon after his indefinite suspension. He is able to return to the team and under contract to do so. He is allowed to be at the team facility on Sunday (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: How many chances is Josh Gordon going to get? Gordon has been suspended numerous times during his career but is getting another opportunity to play football. We don't know the details yet on what conditions he must meet in order to play but the door is open for him to see the field in 2019. Time to adjust your rankings.
