GM Lynch: Brandon Aiyuk "not close" to returning
Knee injury suffered mid-October last season

49ers GM John Lynch told @KNBR that WR Brandon Aiyuk is “not close” to returning from the knee injury he suffered almost a year ago. There was more damage than just to the ACL, and more recovery time is required. (Adam Schefter on X)

FFToday's Take: In the pre-season we were thinking a mid-October return was possible. That doesn't seem likely now. Aiyuk is eligible to come off the PUP list next week but it may be a bit before he gets back on the practice field.
