League source confirms #Jaguars acquire WR Tim Patrick from Detroit Lions for a 2026 sixth-round pick, as @TomPelissero (deal) and @APMarkLong (compensation) pointed out. Patrick, 31, rebounded from missed seasons in 2022-23 (injuries with Denver) to 33 passes last year. (Ryan O'Halloran) FFToday's Take: The Jaguars were a bit thin in their wide receiver room, especially if their intent on playing Travis Hunter some on defense. Jacksonville was reportedly interested in Broncos wideout Devaugn Vele before he was moved to New Orleans. Patrick will give Jacksonville a bigger target on the outside but it's not a big boost to his fantasy value. This move does help Detroit rookie Isaac TeSlaa who has flashed during pre-season. He'll compete for targets with Kalif Raymond as the Lions third receiver.
