Matthew Stafford limited by back soreness

| Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is dealing with back soreness, will not return to practice next week as anticipated, coach Sean McVay said Saturday. Even after Stafford returns to practice, the Rams intend to keep the quarterback on a modified schedule. On Saturday, McVay said Stafford did not experience a setback, but that it feels like "the smart thing to do a week at a time with him." (ESPN)
FFToday's Take: We'll see how long Stafford sits, but it would be nice to see him out there practicing and developing a rapport with Davante Adams. At this point, it doesn't sound like Stafford's in danger of missing Week 1 but this situation should be closely monitored.
