Rodgers calls for young WRs to 'make the jump'
Third wideout an important role within the offense
By: Jake Gordon | Aug 26 2015, 6:46 pm

Aaron Rodgers wants to see more. More plays, more crispness and more consistency from the young receivers on the roster who are moving up in the pecking order following Jordy Nelson’s season-ending injury. “The third receiver is going to get some opportunities,” Rodgers said. “We have a talented two-headed run game, a great offensive line. We’re going to have great balance this year." (Packers.com)

FFToday's Take: The Packers seem to be fine with allowing the talent currently in camp to fill the void created by Jordy Nelson's injury. Aaron Rodgers can make an unknown receiver a weekly fixture in fantasy lineups so it will be worth monitoring the battle for the last two receiver openings over the next two weeks. With Davante Adams moving from third to second on the depth chart, Ty Montgomery is the front runner to secure the third spot.
