Flacco believes he's NFL's "best" QB-- Wed Apr 4 7:00 pm -- "I don't think I'm top five, I think I'm the best"
Aaron Rodgers. Tom Brady. Eli and Peyton Manning. Drew Brees. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco and his agent believe he's right there with the elite class of NFL quarterbacks. "I assume everybody thinks they're a top-five quarterback," Flacco said when asked where he thinks he ranks among NFL quarterbacks. "I mean, I think I'm the best. I don't think I'm top five, I think I'm the best. I don't think I'd be very successful at my job if I didn't feel that way. I mean, c'mon? That's not really too tough of a question."(ESPN)
FF Today's Take:It's good to have confidence but temper your expectations for Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens passing game in 2012. Flacco is definitely a serviceable fantasy quarterback but he doesn't have the accolades, Super Bowl Rings or elite statistics that Rodgers, Brady, Brees and both of the Mannings have.
Packers sign former Colt Jeff Saturday-- Fri Mar 23 6:35 pm -- Veteran C to snap to Aaron Rodgers for the next two seasons
The Green Bay Packers made a rare reach into unrestricted free agency to find a new anchor for their offensive line, agreeing to a two-year deal with veteran free agent center Jeff Saturday on Friday. Saturday's agent, Ralph Cindrich, confirmed the deal Friday afternoon. The 36-year-old Saturday has started 188 regular season games in 13 NFL seasons. The addition of Saturday, with his experience in the Colts' complex offense and quarterback Peyton Manning, should make for a relatively smooth transition.

FF Today's Take:A veteran who is beginning to get up there in age, Saturday is still one of the top centers in the NFL. His addition should allow Aaron Rodgers to maintain his stellar passing production.
Matt Flynn to meet with Seahawks Thurs-- Wed Mar 14 8:50 pm -- Seattle narrowing search for QB
The Seattle Seahawks will be hosting free agent quarterbacks Chad Henne and Matt Flynn on visits this week, along with former Seahawks offensive lineman Steve Hutchinson. The Seahawks are in the market for a QB with only two currently on their roster, including last year's starter Tarvaris Jackson. Jackson played well at times during his first year in Seattle but has just one year remaining on his deal. Flynn turned heads with his performance in Green Bay's season finale when he threw for 480 yards and six touchdowns against Detroit.
(SI)
FF Today's Take:With Henne signed by the Jaguars, the Seahawks can focus their interest on Flynn. Predominantly known for playing the role of Aaron Rodgers' backup the past few seasons in Green Bay, the rarely used 26-year-old has posted a total of 731 passing yards and nine touchdown passes in just two career starts. Could he be the next emerging slinger to step out of the shadow of a star Packers quarterback?
