Jets running back Chris Johnson has been arrested in his hometown of Orlando, Florida.
PFT has confirmed a report that Johnson was arrested on Friday for open carrying of a firearm, a second degree misdemeanor. A league source tells PFT that Johnson does have a license to carry in Florida. But this arrest wasn’t just for carrying, it was for open carrying. (Pro Football Talk)
FFToday's Take:The team is aware of the situation but isn't commenting. Johnson split time with Chris Ivory this past season and signed a 2-year deal prior to last season.
