Arian Foster "day-to-day" ahead of Week 4
Hamstring has RB unsure about status vs. Buffalo
By: Doug Orth | Sep 22 2014, 3:20 pm

The Texans played without RB Arian Foster on Sunday because they didn’t feel Foster’s hamstring was up to facing the Giants. On Monday, Foster said that his hamstring felt “good” while working out on Sunday although it obviously wasn’t good enough to allay any fears that the team might have had about his condition. While he felt good on Sunday, he wasn’t making any overly optimistic predictions for this week’s game. Foster described himself as “day-to-day,”. (Pro Football Talk)

FFToday's Take: Foster's unwillingness to proclaim his readiness for Week 4 means rookie Alfred Blue could be in line for another start against Buffalo. The Bills just got done holding the Chargers' Donald Brown to 62 rushing yards on 31 carries and ranks sixth in the league in run defense, meaning it could be another long day for the Texans on the ground again.
