Bryce Brown adds depth to Bills backfield Spiller and Jackson heading into contract years By: Mike Krueger | May 11 2014, 7:00 am
The Philadelphia Eagles traded running back Bryce Brown to the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. In return for Brown, the Bills will receive a conditional 2015 fourth-round pick that can become a 2016 third-round pick. The Bills and Eagles also swapped 2014 seventh-round selections as part of the deal. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take:Bryce Brown gives the Bills insurance for Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller who are both entering the final year of their contracts. Jackson's age (33) means he likely won't be re-signed in Buffalo next season. Brown's fantasy value remains on hold as the third running back on the Bills depth chart.
