Injury Six week recovery time for Eli Manning
Sprained ankle still giving Giants QB trouble
By: Mike Krueger | Apr 10 2014, 3:52 pm

New York Giants
Eli Manning will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his left ankle. The Giants quarterback sustained a high ankle sprain during the season finale against the Redskins and, according to a post on the team's web site, is still "experiencing some discomfort" during the start of his offseason prep work. He is expected to be out for at least six weeks. (

FFToday's Take: Manning isn't expected to participate in the off-season program which begins April 21st but should be available once mini-camp begins in late June. Manning was sacked more than any other QB last season but has been very durable during his career. He's played in every game since 2005.
