Knowshon Moreno lands in Miami
One-year deal
By: Mike Krueger | Mar 27 2014, 3:08 pm

The Miami Dolphins can officially end the team's search for an all-purpose tailback. The Dolphins have signed former Denver Broncos starter Knowshon Moreno to a one-year deal, which will likely make him the front runner to serve as Miami's starting tailback in 2014. (Sun Sentinel)

FFToday's Take: Moreno was our top-rated free agent running back available and there was speculation that after finding a cool market for his services, he might return to the Broncos. Last season was Moreno's best as a pro (1587 total yds, 13 TDs) on his way to a top-five ranking among all fantasy RBs. With a weaker offense in Miami, Moreno will slip to RB2 status assuming he wins the starting job. This move ripples down to Broncos running back Montee Ball, who will now be drooled over as a breakout candidate in 2014.
