Jaguars re-sign QB Chad Henne Two-year contract By: Mike Krueger | Mar 7 2014, 11:30 am
The Jacksonville Jaguars and quarterback Chad Henne have agreed on a two-year contract, the team announced Friday.
The deal comes four days before the beginning of free agency and one day before Henne could have begun negotiations with other teams. Henne started 13 games and threw for 3,421 yards and 13 touchdowns with 14 interceptions in 2013. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take:Blaine Gabbert has had a difficult time remaining healthy giving Chad Henne an opportunity to play the last two years. Speculation is the Jaguars could use their No.3 draft pick on a quarterback (Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel) but you can pencil in Henne as the projected starter for now.
