Reduced role for Bilal Powell? Crowell's missed one game in 4 years By: Mike Krueger | Jul 11 2018, 6:00 pm
I expect Bilal Powell’s production to drop dramatically this season, not because of any dropoff by him but because of fewer opportunities. Powell benefited in prior years from Ivory and Forte being injury prone. Crowell does not miss time. That is one of the things that appealed to the Jets about him. (New York Post)
FFToday's Take:Powell say an increase in carries (+47) but a decrease in receptions (-35) last season and the addition of Isaiah Crowell, who has missed only 1 game in four years, and emergence of Elijah McGuire could eat into Powell's workload in 2018. The Jets currently have three viable running backs making all of them marginal fantasy options unless injury occurs.
