Randall Cobb wearing walking boot May miss start of training camp By: Mike Krueger | Jun 25 2018, 8:00 am
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is recovering from an ankle injury that may sideline him for the beginning of training camp, according to a source. Cobb is wearing a walking boot on his right ankle. He described the boot as “temporary” when seen at an airport Sunday night but didn’t say whether he underwent surgery. How and when the injury occurred is unclear. (Green Bay Press Gazette)
FFToday's Take:Cobb participated in OTAs and it sounds like he will be eased into training camp. It's unclear what the injury is but it doesn't appear to be serious. Cobb is an interesting fantasy prospect with the return of Aaron Rodgers and the loss of Jordy Nelson opening up more opportunities in the passing game. Cobb is currently being valued as WR34, late round 7 in PPR scoring leagues.
