| Browns expected to sign RB Carlos Hyde Still in the mix for Saquon Barkley? By: Mike Krueger | Mar 14 2018, 8:00 am
| On Wednesday morning, they agreed to terms on a three-year deal with former Buckeyes running back Carlos Hyde, a league source confirmed for cleveland.com.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, who first reported the signing, reported that Hyde will receive a three-year deal worth more than $15 million, including $6 million in the first year. (Cleveland Plain Dealer)
FFToday's Take: You have to wonder now if Cleveland is in the mix to draft RB Saquon Barkley in the first round. Isaiah Crowell is expected to sign with the Jets. With Hyde and Duke Johnson in backfield, they could feel comfortable with their veteran running backs without addressing the position in the draft. For now, we're looking at a Hyde-Johnson committee similar to what the Browns have run in the past with Crowell and Johnson.
