Kelce in concussion protocol
Misses practice Wednesday
By: Jake Gordon | Oct 11 2017, 1:36 pm

Tight end Travis Kelce was one of the Chiefs players held out of their practice on Wednesday. Kelce suffered a concussion in last Sunday night's victory over the Texans and remains in the concussion protocol as they started work for their game against the Steelers this weekend. Coach Andy Reid said, via, Tom Martin of KCTV5, that Kelce "feels pretty good" although his ability to pass through the protocol will be the only determining factor in his ability to play this week. Safety Steven Terrell is also in the concussion protocol. Wide receiver Albert Wilson (knee), linebacker Justin Houson (calf) and guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif (knee) were also on the sideline for practice. (Pro Football Talk)

FFToday's Take: Travis Kelce is on his way to another solid fantasy year and currently sits behind Zach Ertz as the second best fantasy TE through five weeks of the season. If he is not able to pass the concussion protocol the Chiefs will use the tandem of Demetrius Travis and Ross Davis. Kelce would be a must start if cleared but his status may not be known until Friday or even Sunday so have a backup plan in place.
